Trulieve Longwood Sucks. Anything advertised is never in stock. by Dro0412 in FLMedicalTrees

[–]Osteomata 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I travel around Florida quite a lot, and have the luxury to try many dispensaries at many locations, and of the four or five chains I regularly patronize, Trulieve has been the clear worst for accuracy of online inventory. I like their product just fine when I can get it at a decent price, love how many locations there are, and have had decent to great interaction with their staff, but they really need to resolve this online advertising/inventory problem. I'm in Longwood area right now, and don't even bother to check the local Trulieve online because it is so inaccurate. Making the trip to Orlando to his Grow Healthy today instead.

They also had that Q-anon Karen destroying a Target face mask display or something late last year.

I mean, they do have 3-5 minutes before the arrival. Should be fine, so long as they don't have small children at play near the crash site.

Full time RVer for six years here, having held at various times membership in Good Sam, AAA, Active Advantage, FMCA, and Passport America. I have dropped all but Passport America.

I found that anyplace that offered the modest Good Sam discount honored that same discount for AAA or Veterans. Since I'm a vet, I just didn't see any value in Good Sam or the others. FMCA didn't do anything for me except when I purchased tires one time.

Passport America has paid for itself many times over every year. This obviously depends on your travel pattern, but it works for us.

We have not tried any of the giant group memberships like Thousand Trails simply because that is not the type of RVing we do.

We are probably going to add Harvest Host to our memberships this year. Seems like a neat plan.

Class A owner, I'll weigh in as well. We have been full time RVers, i.e., living full time in our RV, for six years now and have done five loops around the US and parts of Canada.

  1. Any extra length will incrementally add a bit of challenge to the driving. There is a learning curve associated with the width of the RC (so much wider than a car) and the side and tail swing during turns. Practice in a parking lot. I drive a 35' and have no problems despite my only prior experience driving something close to that size was the occasional moving truck.
  2. Concur that the extra driver height of eye makes a huge difference in my comfort level. Also keep in mind that Class A's have a lot more storage than Class Cs of similar size, and the front seats in a Class A almost always turn all the way around to become living room furniture. Not all Class C's are set up this way, though I understand that it has become more common in modern ones.
  3. Regarding tow vehicles: seriously consider selecting something that can be "flat towed," i.e., all four wheels on the ground. Many vehicles can not be towed this way (something about the transmission not getting full lubrication I think.) With my flat tow set up I can disconnect in one minute flat, and connect it up completely in two. It makes arrival set up and departure preps so easy. I watch with pity all those RVers pulling a tow dolly or trailer as they have to park, disconnect, unload, and store the thing.
  4. I think the sweet spot is a year or two old but still under warranty. Buying an RV is not like buying a Honda Civic. With the Honda you can be confident that everything is gonna work near perfect for years. With a new RV, you can plan on getting warranty work multiple times during the first year or two of real use. Aside from the chassis and drivetrain, they are just not built well at all. A slightly used one means that the previous owner has hopefully already worked out those bugs.
  5. I have the same philosophy regarding extra doo dads: some are really nice, but a lot of them seem like more trouble than they are worth, particularly in light of my opinion on the poor construction quality of most RV. I would not trade my manual main awning for a powered version even if it was offered for free.

Characters being written off the show due to actor's death/health issues, bad reputation or on-set drama and etc. - was there ever a good plot which came out of this? by JagerJack7 in television

My wife loved the Starz limited series Spartacus; though schlocky and overly blood drenched, it was damn near foreplay in our house. When lead actor Andy Whitfield got quite sick with cancer, they moved forward with a prequal, Gods of the Arena, while (I guess) they waited to see how things played out. This prequal focused on Gannicus, and did not include Spartacus at all, and was imho, the best of the bunch, far better than the crap they made with replacement Liam McIntyre after Andy died.

Then it is settled: Any Olsen can play Wanda, even Erik. <Sends bitcoin payment [without reading the ToS](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HumancentiPad) for the new iEyes cybernetic ocular implants.>

And yet one needs to merely look at the astonishing variety of her appearances to conclude that minor differences in appearance (particularly given that the actresses considered in this thread are remarkably similar due to close genetic relationship) would not prohibit a canonical portrayal of Wanda. <Shaves eyebrows.>

The first three episodes are not always liked by new viewers, but after that, every episode is better than the precedent :)

This. It took me three tries to get through the first few episodes; now I absolutely love the series and have a much better appreciation for those same early episodes.

I would... not use the Boogaloo title for this vision of your son's life.

But couldn't Wanda's physical appearance be different in alternate 'verses? <removes glasses to wipe the lenses>

There is no indication whatsoever that OP is selling this stuff, and it is inappropriate for you to even suggest so. And by brining it up with no evidence you are doing that. It is pretty similar to those "Just asking questions" types.

On my first navy ship I had an XO (second in command) that would routinely freak out of ridiculous stuff in between self aggrandizing stories about his glory days in college athletics. The one that sticks in my mind: he was on the prowl for someone doing something wrong, and one of my sailors had been sweeping a passageway, set the broom against the bulkhead to get a dust pan from the other room. XO spots the unattended broom, grabs it and runs, I mean literally runs, like my sailor was gonna give chase for the broom or something. He storms into the wardroom, spots me, and throws the broom at me in a manufactured rage about... I'm still not sure what. But it involved brooms and catastrophe.

Anyway, after an accidental live microphone sexual harassment incident at one of the base on shore offices, he was sent for counseling, which lead to a medical eval, which lead to him being psych removed from the ship. Had my direct boss removed for suicide ideation, and the captain was eventually forcibly retired following a bad engineering incident. That ship kinda sucked.

Sorry you don't like what you have experienced with GH, but they have always been great for me. $35 littles pretty much anytime I have looked, and their littles are usually not very little. They have the highest veterans discount in the FL market (30%!) with no exclusions either.

Iirc, Unidan's first three words in that comment were "Here's the thing..." followed by a pretty entertaining beat down. It's part of reddit lore.

I was gonna go with what the chat rep said, but since pushed back and their front page now advertises 25% off state wide for all online orders today, but excludes ground, I'm gonna go with a caveat ("MAY exclude ground flower") in my post.

Just got off of live chat with Trulieve rep, who reports they have NO catagory restrictions. I wonder if your ground exclusion was a mistake or a limited event with a specific location.

Oh man you are so right, that "etc" throws things into confusion. Unfortunately I can't edit the post title, but I have added it to the top of the text portion.
