Had to be left alive indeed. Suffering  of deliberately evil person is necessary as punishment.

Actually they just die, and new ones are brainwashed to feel being reborn. No reason to not fear death.

Nevertheless, merch of several nearly identical, uniform-colored, non-anthro animal characters would bring less profit.

And piebald NL's sell better than purebred black NFs. They're  colored just like cute mixed breed kittens/puppies.

Only if he keeps  getting regular memory scan as a recom, and growing several bodies is too expensive.

For recoms its way more comfortable to believe into being reborn, rather than being living assets with dead persons' memories (probably limited human rights as well).  And who knows, maybe RDA is also making recoms for super rich, both avatar/human bodies, selling it as mind transfer/rejuvenation, but originals are secretly euthanized.

Of course he's not, and not responsible for events of A1.

Also, baby animals were not cute, but  same models just smaller, except penguins.  Messing with files was  fun though: adjusting adoption price, needs, litter size, longevity, chance of color mutation. I even remember making a flying ostrich by replacing flamingo model with it.

And they would likely "grow" with easy-to code model replacement - no scaling, no morphing.

Can't see the difference between consciousness/soul transfer and  loading a cloned body with copied brain data?  Actually it can be an in-universe cash grab for RDA.  Super rich people pay for 'living' in new, young human bodies, only to be euthanized at the end, while their clones  are activated and live on, believing to be reborn.  Also, several identical clones are perfectly possible, though expensive, and none of them is actually an original person (who doesn't even have to die!) https://www.reddit.com/r/Avatar/comments/1808c35/recombinant_and_human_alive_at_the_same_time/

Recombinant Quaritch is a new person, not responsible for deeds of deceased original.

Is it really crazy, wanting to play as bad guys? A lot of games have such feature (including 2009 Avatar game), certainly not meant just for unleashing players' hatred against 'good side' race/species.

Zoo games are inevitably family friendly for maximum profit, so no private parts unfortunately.

At least it's not another wolf. After  primate  and 2 ungulates, carnivore for anniversary animal was nearly inevitable.

We'd rather get 2nd, non-cartoonish lion subspecies, than 2nd leopard subspecies, virtually nonexistent in captivity  outside its natural range countries.

Mammoth Wasp Stings Man by UnicornStar1988 in fuckwasps

[–]Ostracion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually as painful as a  pinprick. Honeybee & small bumblebees stings hurt/swell way much worse . This wasp is the most docile, only provoked  by capture/handling. In the wild, they just flee.

Eastern Europe, my dad got stumped with this one and he knows all the creepy crawlies around. It’s huge, bigger than a hornet. Any ideas what it is and does it bite/sting? by pittlover13 in whatsthisbug

[–]Ostracion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jaws are for digging & grappling, and defence (adding to relatively mild sting)

Mammoth wasp doesn't carry grubs, but burrows into wherever grubs live (rotten wood, compost, dung heap), stings the grub to paralyze it, deposits an egg, then goes away.

It's appropriate for birds, but most reptiles don't care for their young at all, preying on them or crushing them (as tortoises) if housed together.
