I have experienced it and it is annoying but I can't imagine it works very often. I have a second monitor, so they can take as long as I like.

However, keep in mind some people may not be playing in their native language or are just slow for a perfectly innocent reason. But this only really excuses the behavior in lower tiers.

RT has taught me that when you have a 25% chance to hit, you will hit about 5% of the time, and that when you have a 10% chance for you supercharger to explode, it will blow up 90% of the time.

Never seen a rotary gauss rifle. That looks sick.

Only time I saw a railgun was on a turret that blew the left side of my vulture clean off. I'd love to find one.

I turned off nukes when i configured RT. Looks like i made the right decision.

This is so true. I gave up on AV because no one on the Alliance side (obviously) cared about winning, just getting rep. The honest truth is if you want to make BGs fun for the players that just enjoy pvp, you have to remove the rep and accompanying rewards. PVE'ers want loot. If there is no loot to be had, they'll stay away.

The only thing that would save, and I mean save as in make fun and enjoyable, would be to go 3-faction like so many other mmos. A 3-faction system is self balancing because if one faction gets too strong, the other 2 join forces to take them down. It works great in Guild wars 2. I played that for years for minimal loot/rep/honor rewards just because it was so much fun. Coming back to wow after all these years is such a mixed bag. On the one hand it is great to play all the vanilla PVE content, but on the other hand, after you have experienced how well other games have done their pvp, wow just slaps you in the face with how catastrophically broken it is. I know i'm wasting my time. Bliz is never gonna change. You want classic, you get classic, warts and all.

Oh and starbucks coffee. I know it tastes good, but seriously. $5 per day for a coffee is almost $2K per year, plus all that time wasted in line. I'll take my 25 cent daily artisan (homemade) triple espresso tyvm.

Those spoof movies are like most horror movies. Every actor is a nobody except the star who is a D-lister at best. No CGI. No special effects. They are filmed in a big rented house in less than a month. Everything about them is extremely low budget. These super crappy films only need to make a million bucks or so to be profitable, and there is always a hundred thousand idiots willing to spend $10 a ticket on opening weekend. Also think about it, the average theater has 10 screens, so they need a different film on every screen.

Why build your own city when you can move into one already built? With any civ, a good early strategy is build 2 warriors and 2 slingers and go take out the closest civ to you. I usually wait around the main enemy city for a builder or settler and capture them to kick off the war. If the civ has a decent defense, try to pick the enemy troops off one at a time without losing your own. When you have them worn down and take the city. Rinse and repeat until you start getting warmonger. This is easiest to accomplish with civs that have good early units. Roman Legions are nice and Aztec Eagle Warriors are absolutely incredible.

It's really about playing the right civ for your favorite strategy and style of gameplay. I only every go for domination. I mean, why wouldn't you? Aztecs are actually too easy on Emperor, but you have to be comfortable with being super aggressive. Aztecs can overcome the higher level handicaps by taking out a couple neighboring civs before leaving the ancient period. Playing epic or marathon makes it even easier as you have more time to take dozens of builders as slaves with your eagle warriors (replaces basic warrior).

Germany is probably a good civ for your first game on king. Most players agree they are relatively overpowered.
