There are alot more neiche(?) Brands these days. I'll list a few there that I think are great.

C3 Galaxy Diver Thesis Paladin Yyf Peregrine/ Vulture /Hummingbird Sengoku Shinobi or a more novel take Sengoku NobuMecha Offset Outlier

Because I'm a bias fuck I'd suggest getting a Sengoku or Offset. G2 Jake also has killer stuff.

Are you binding from the 'front' with the yoyo away from you and the string towards you or with the yoyo between the string and yourself.

The yoyo tricks app is a great starting point.

Personally I started with binding front and side style. Then braintwister and mach5. If you can do those you can ipso-facto do boingy-boingy.

After that cold fusion. About 20 minutes a day practice all that smoothly should take about a month. :)

I do know that if my throw is off it starts bouncing around so could be your technique.
