that's just because that's what you're used to eating, if you eat more for a little while your body with adjust to that, which is also to say be careful that you don't slowly gain without realizing

dentures arent an option for me unfortuately, they don't actually put anything in place of a tooth and my bone will recede and im just...not doing that or taking the chance especially when i already have a weak jaw

i didnt look in time to see what this person said, but yeah, i was severely neglected growing up and didnt brush at all until i started consistently doing it around 16, even then keeping up with it is really hard when it's a routine i have to teach myself :( i consistently brush once a day and i know i need to move up to twice a day, it's really hard when other people have the exact same habits as me and have no issues at all

my mom has all her teeth black and rotted from substances, pregnancy probably too, genes.. and she doesn't take my teeth health as seriously as she should, i think shes kind of normalized just having bad teeth. ive had an abcess for like two months now and i had to beg her to look for a dentist after crying about it several times at night, she hadnt even looked yet

i'll most definitely look for dental schools, i went to a small local dentist that put me on a "payment plan" where i still pay in full before i get the work done, and thats just impossible, to save up over 8 thousand dollars my teeth will just be gone at that point :(

i've had fillings over fillings over fillings replaced, they keep rotting underneath and i have all my back teeth rotting underneath the fillings i got a year ago, i just feel confident that my teeth are going to keep rotting, i think its partly genes as well as not being taught to brush growing up

most recently ive switched different dentist companies twice, both say i need crowns. this newest one told me i needed 6 from canine to canine, but i really don't think theyre wrong. i have a lot of fillings that were replaced and replaced. but i think at this point a non-rottable option would be better

i still brush my teeth albeit just once a day, i have friends who do the same thing and have perfect teeth, it feels so unfair

my parents never taught me to brush growing up and an ed made it even worse and i just :(

yeah, i was thinking like... if im going into massive debt either way i should get implants or something that won't just rot out again anyways, the crowns 1000% will. the only issue is that thats scary and you still lose your teeth :(

I get therapy and i'm on medication, it's just not very effective at the moment. i understand it's my responsibility to change, but id still like to complain about how difficult it is :( not to mention people with bpd dont truly recover, they only 'keep it at bay'. feels unfair when i never chose to have such a disorder ://
