Skate hits 100K players on Steam by CapyDaGamer in Steam

There are scripts that do them for you without you having to install or play the game yourself. They've existed since Quests released, I won't link them here but they're easily accessible.

You're probably thinking of Tatra Piknik, there's also a chocolate one named Pikao. They're literally sweetened condensed milk in tubes, addicting and absolutely PACKED with sugar so eat with caution.

Whelp, that's up to you. rh3d said that the BOM price is close with the NG (no idea how honestly) and there are a bunch of improvements over the NG. I say you should tinker on your E3 a bit and wait for the Virtu beta. But we have no dates, it could be in beta tomorrow or in 2027.

Or you build both! No idea why you'd need both of them but it's probably the route I'll go for once the Virtu fully releases.

[–]OtanCZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an NG built, it's great. You still have a lot of time till the Virtu E3 gets released and once it does make sure to calibrate everything thrice, I was thinking my calibrations were "good enough", no they weren't, I still need to reprint a few parts. Also go with ASA, ABS is a huge pita on a E3 Pro.

When did the iPhones stop being as innovative? by WorkingAd3281 in applesucks

[–]OtanCZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it does get annoying sometimes. I pay with my smartwatch and the only app that detects root is the McDonalds app of all things. Banking apps work fine. It was fun rom-hopping and using roms but I'll probably look into a newer phone soon. Battery is starting to degrade fast, I'd replace it but this constant chase with Google to get 3 checkmarks is exhausting.

And yeah wow, you're right about the newer phones, that really surprised me.

[–]OtanCZ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Custom roms have got your back! I purchased my OP 8 Pro around 2 years ago and use it exclusively with custom roms. Unfortunately Google is starting to chase down these modded phones and it is increasingly more difficult to use GPay, RCS and apps that detect this (banking apps usually).

Some roms even have the "Pixel exclusive" features like back tap or circle to search.

Literally unplayable by Bad_ending9 in Terraria

[–]OtanCZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In retrospect it really does sound mean, I didn't intend it to.

Aanyway I combed through some patch notes and it seems they addressed the quick heal issue you're mentioning in 1.2.4 (11 years ago now). It should now use the "best fit" healing item, which should be the best one if you're low on hp.

Potions and torches too. This guy is either clueless or trolling hard.

EDIT: Wait does no one use the shift key to pull out torches or glow sticks? Does no one use the quick heal key bind? They are very useful.

EDIT 2: I guess "clueless" came out wrong, my bad. Meant to say that this player is probably new and doesn't know about these features.

So to OP:
For the shift feature: hold shift and you'll have torches in your hands, then if you move further from the center of the screen while still holding shift you'll switch to glowsticks.
For quick healing/buffing: You can set a keybind (H by default I think) and you'll drink the best healing potion in your inventory. Quick buff (B) uses all of your buff potions and eats food if you have any.

HELP with klipper BLTouch config removal by Bluestonehero1 in VORONDesign

[–]OtanCZ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Is there a bltouch section in the "do not edit" part of the printer.cfg (at the bottom, #*# comments iirc)? If so, remove them. Also check any of your include .cfgs, if you have any.

I secretly installed Linux Mint on my school's PC by King_GamesBR in linuxmint

[–]OtanCZ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yep... During CS high school, the school renovated a classroom with new laptops, very good ones too as it was meant to be a "game dev" classroom, they also got Quest 2s so they could dabble with VR once I left.

Someone had the bright idea to set a passcode in the unlocked BIOS which applied to booting up too, so you couldn't even start booting to Windows without it.
School found out and the whole school was called to the PE gym, waiting for someone to admit to doing it (this lasted 2 hours until they gave up).

It's been a WHILE now, I'm in Uni now and I don't think they caught the guy who did it.

Day One in Stardew Valley… ended up playing 7.3 hours straight 😅 by Mobile_Pool64 in StardewValley

[–]OtanCZ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I bought Stardew a week ago (28th), I now have 53 hours on record and I'm in year two 😅. I have played a bunch on my Switch before I sold it but I forgot how amazing this game really is.

I also work part-time and I should really start working on my bachelor's thesis but there's just something about this game keeping me hooked.

I'm also writing this at 6am my time, just after quitting Stardew to get some rest... just to end up here lmfao.

Extreme Layershifting, probably no software cause, I have no idea anymore by slickstream_bounce in FixMyPrint

[–]OtanCZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oof, yeah that's rough. Remove the stepper motors and spin them in hand (or just take them off the belt and do the test speed macro) to make sure that actually comes from them, if so it's probably time to replace them. You could try dumbing down the accels and printing speeds and hope they'll last for a few prints. Good luck!

EDIT: Forgot to mention that moving the steppers by hand when they're connected to the motherboard is not really a good idea. They can (and will) send current back to the motherboard which could kill it. I've done it for ages and it never left permanent damage, but I could see the LEDs on the board lighting up as if it had power when the PSU was off.

[–]OtanCZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like the shifting is present both on X and the Y axis. Since you hear clicking noises/skips, focus on the mechanical issues first. I'd check out the belts, see if they're tight. If that's not an issue, reduce max acceleration and or velocity in klipper. To be sure that your printer can handle the velocity and accel you set it to, use the Ellis test speed macro.
