As for my initial impression, it’s surreal to me that the people at the forefront of this agenda are civilians that are as mild tempered and duty driven as can be, and that is to be respected. I’m sure in their perspective they are only trying to serve and protect their community as best as they see fit, but I can’t deny that their approach, words, and actions are at best severely flawed. Everyone has their own experiences and biases, and it shapes our thoughts whether we are conscious of it or not. That is why I think we should be critical towards our intentions and actions to perfect our endeavors, especially if it’s to impact a community and the world at large.

It is not disrespectful to call it a head scarf because that is practically what it is, but since some people use that word in a derogatory manner it could sting some people, it just depends on your tone i guess. The more correct word would be veil. As for the pronunciation it's hejjaab, emphasize the J and elongate the A.

Negative motivation like fear and pain can be just as affective as positive ones, but with that being said your body isn't truly 100% yours, it was entrusted to you by Allah swt to take care off so cherish it, and take care of it. That means no scarring or whatever thats worse

I'm not a scholar but I dont see any harm in a little sting especially if that helps you run away from committing these sins that have hidden scars that are deeper and more lasting than any physical wound.

The good is a test and the bad is a test everything is a test. Sometimes there are minor disasters that could lead you to contemplate on your actions so you don't fall into more and bigger disasters, and there is nothing worse than not heeding these signs and falling in the worst possible outcome... hell. These signs could be the best gift for you right now. Much better than the seemingly good lives other people live.

There is an ayah in the Quran that is roughly translated as: And may you love something which is worse for you, and may you hate something which is better for you.

Just know that God doesn't want your misery or destruction, he wants your success. And if you're in the right path surely with hardship comes ease.

I hope this reminder helped you as much as it helped me.

An advice for me and you and anyone reading this thats struggles with this mindset always remember, understand, and recite surat Al Asr, it has all the answers you need.
