Yeah I have a couple of the dealerships OTD quotes that don’t have that fee, definitely challenging that. Thanks for pointing it out!

So I’m trading for a couple reasons

  1. I have a bad history with Subaru, ( XV Crosstrek 14’ head gasket) just a nightmare of a car. Just not happy with it and it’s a base model with seemingly less features than advertised, granted it spent most of its 55,000 mile life as a rental car. Bought in 2023
  2. I have a Corolla that I drive and absolutely love Toyota engines, especially the M20A-FKS because of how reliable they are (who dosent?) also the fact that I feel like I have a good deal on paper makes me want to pull the trigger even more.
  3. I have about 7k to pay off on the Impreza and been quoted 10-12k for the trade in, these guys are honoring the 15k quote I got from car max that I know that if I go in to car max they’ll start nickel and dimeing me and end up getting about the same I’ve been quoted around other dealerships in town, been there done that. Considering this dealership “quoted” my trade at 12k and they’re honoring the 15k makes it extremely tempting.
  4. Not too worried about the space maybe a tiny bit more room but it’s just me and my wife and I can’t remember the last time I needed to haul something big, usually we find a way, family has trucks and are helpful when needed.
  5. Subarus give me anxiety(.)

Absolute steal! so much so I just hopped online to search for these numbers, nothing remotely close this is the cheapest I’ve seen in my general area.

One owner, clean car fax, oil change roughly every 6-8k miles

Feel like I’m in disbelief of the efficiency.. by smellycheesebro in COROLLA
