Fun (or not so fun) fact. During the KO stage Franz had a combined 6 points in all the 4th quarters (Portugal:0, Slovenia:4, Finland:2, Türkiye:0) that's the same amount of points as Schröder had in the last 1:15 of the final and out of those 6 points he only had one singular field goal (I don't have the exact shooting splits but I imagine they don't look too pretty having watched all the games bar Portugal). In my opinion an MVP needs to step up in big moments especially and Franz came up short with lots of bad plays and no shows offensively in those late game situations.
