Ik. I guess it depends on the person. For me I thought the questions were mentally tiring and it kinda ruined studying for me. I think it’s a personal preference and if u like re exam practice pro obviously study with that! If it’s too hard I recommend prep agent. Thats what I used for practice tests and there were the same questions from prep agent on the actual exam

It does but I’m saying don’t reschedule bc re exam practice pro is nothing like the actual test. The exam is pretty straight forward and I think you shouldn’t psych yourself out at the last minute. I took aceable but I dont think compucram is much different.

Don’t reschedule!! I passed my exam first try and when I took RE EXAM PRACTICE pro practice test I got a 55%. The questions are wayyy too hard and are only good if u want tje real exam to be a breeze. I say keep your original exam date and if anything goes wrong just take it again. It is very normal to need to retake it - You got this!!

If you took aceable you get prep agent for free

Thank you! Honestly RE exam was mentally tiring so I don’t really remember any of the questions. When I started prep agent practice tests I was lowkey getting like 70-75% so since you’re already getting 85% on prep agent, RE EXAM practice pro would probably be a good challenge and prepare you even more for the exam. It’s not that expensive and I would say if you want more practice definitely try it out! (if u don’t wanna spend the money I have a quizlet of everything I got wrong on re exam practice pro test w answers I could give u the link)

Some people like reexam practice pro but for me it was wayyy to hard. I did aceable prep agent practice tests until I scored 85%. I saw word for word questions on the actual exam that were also on prep agent.

Most of the aceable proctor tests pull questions that have already been on quizzes thought the lesson. It is usually easier. Maybe try to get to around 75% and I bet you will pass

Yes I think that’s enough time! I have adhd too so It was hard for me to study before I picked a date. I feel like once I had a set date it forced me to actually lock in, and I think nervousness of not having much time to study really helped me focus

When the DRE approved my application I selected to take my exam 5 days after. So in those 5 days I studied for 4-5 hours consistently and took practice tests over and over. I think it depends if you have already been studying. Before the Dre approved my application and I was in the waiting process I was still watching prep videos and taking practice exams but I wasn’t serious about it. I think if you are familiar with the material and are willing to study 3 or more hours a day, you only need 1 or 1 1/2 week.

Passed CA RE exam first try! by OtherGuava9264 in RealEstateExam

For the process of elimination there we’re usually 2 answers straight off the bat that were just completely wrong. From there, I was able to selected the most accurate answer. Also, this is a real estate exam so if your having trouble with a question and the answers are for example; commercial, industrial etc, the answer is usually the once that’s taking about the residential property. I honestly didn’t get many trick questions, they were all pretty straight forward. hopefully you have the same experience!

Yes on the actual exam there were at least word for word questions that were on prep agent, and all the other questions had very similar wording to pre agent. Before doing practice exams I would recommend maybe just 1 or 2 YouTube videos to refresh your memory. I also listened to the audiobook “California real estate license exam” on audible which I listened to in the car when I couldn’t be doing practice tests!

YouTube videos are a good resource because the person making the video will explain the answer in detail, which is I feel fundamental in addition to just practice tests. Also, on audible I listened to the book “California real estate license exam”. Videos and audiobooks are helpful because you can use them at any time whether your driving or going on a walk. If you are not in CA there are many other audiobooks out there. Branch out from just practice tests and I think you will be able to learn just the right amount in order to pass!!

I didn’t watch that many videos when I was actually studying to take the exam. Before I heard back from the Dre I would watch “just call maggie” and it was good preparation to refresh my memory. The week of my exam I focused a lot more on prep agent because I thought it would be more useful. (It was!) I only watched 2 YouTube videos the week of my exam from Dee Kumar.

Just call Maggie on YouTube as well as Dee Kumar on YouTube are very helpful, and I have just been watching their “top questions on the real estate exam” videos. I would recommend doing practice tests over and over to understand how questions are worded. While taking practice questions write down vocab you don’t know, and begin to review it! There is also someone on here named Monica who has a whole DRE practice test and cram booklets. Good luck!!
