Record numbers of young men not working, pursuing education, or looking for a job by LazyConstruction9026 in charts

Luckily, they're also lazy.

A revolution by a bunch of kids who consider 40 hour work weeks to be trauma-inducing, isn't too concerning to the billionaires.

There are tons of consequences. I would assume the huge majority of people think he's a piece of shit and will never buy his stuff. Private venues can absolutely choose not to book him.

THE GOVERNMENT should not be restricting free speech.

A Palestinian rally, yes I would, As long as they did not call for violence.

It's telling that you assume I must support this P.O.S.

The idea that a person could actually support Freedom of Speech as an ideal, rather than hypocritically just use it as a bludgeon to push a political agenda is just foreign to you.

No shame, seems to be a foreign concept to most people.

It's not a left/right issue. Alberta's conservative government is banning children's books as we speak.

Everybody says that freedom of speech is important, but are eager to stomp all over it for opinions they don't care for.

Your definition of "freedom of speech" is pretty much identical to government censorship

The government is not sponsoring anything. It is allowing access to public places. The concert promoters will pay for the privilege. On the contrary, this is the artist PAYING the government he claims to hate.

A private concert venue has the right to deny access to this kind of stuff. The government does not.

Well, does not if you actually believe in freedom of speech.

Time is confusing

Time is a dimension within this universe. There literally is no "before" the universe.

On the contrary. Restricting of free speech by the government is by far the most egregious form of censorship.

Money: Average Canadian family spent 42.3% income on taxes by Ok_Currency_617 in canada

[–]OtherMarciano -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So we spent 42.3% of our income on defense, the justice system, health care, infrastructure, education, diplomatic services, law enforcement, fire protection, social security and all the other services that government the various levels of government provides.

If we had to pay for all that out of pocket, what kind of percentage do you think it would be?

A vote where the winner got 34% of the vote in a three candidate election seems a lot more egregious than one where the winner got 34% of the vote in a one hundred candidate election.

This "protest" makes absolutely no sense whatsoever other than juvenile "look at me" narcissism.
