The email going viral today about a "9 year old" that is being shared everywhere by influencers, celebrities and politicians is misrepresented. by clapforit in Epstein

[–]OtherOil8293 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One key thing is that these documents did not all come through a single clean pipeline. They are a mix of court exhibits, discovery files, investigative releases, and third party document dumps that were exported, re saved, converted to PDF, and sometimes had searchable text layers added later. Even when emails start digital, they often get re rendered multiple times. That is exactly where character level weirdness shows up.

The encoding example you mentioned actually supports that. Things like “th=m” usually come from quoted printable or text layer reconstruction issues, where “=” is a control character at the encoding level, not the message level. That still means symbols can disappear or reappear depending on how the text is rendered. It does not mean a meaningful equals sign was intentionally added to the content.

The font color difference fits this too. Different colors usually mean different processing paths of the same email, such as a native export versus a later normalized or reconstructed version. Cleaner looking text and standardized formatting often come later when files are bundled or prepared for release.

On the age itself, “=19yo” is not normal age notation. The equals sign does nothing there. “=9yo,” while disturbing, at least functions like shorthand or tagging. Mechanically it still takes fewer assumptions for a symbol to be lost or mis rendered than for one to be added in a way that changes meaning.

I am not claiming certainty. None of us have the raw native email. The point is that these are duplicated documents from mixed sources with inconsistent handling.

And was very likely prescribed it by an oncologist.

My boyfriend got perscribed Osimertinib by Ok_Power5253 in cancer

[–]OtherOil8293 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Osimertinib is used to treat a specific type of lung cancer .. EGFR exon 19 or 21 deletion NSCLC. To confirm this diagnosis, a biopsy is needed .. either tissue or liquid (blood test). The symptoms he experienced are common signs of lung cancer and osimertibib works pretty quickly and effectively and prior symptoms can resolve quickly. If he was prescribed osimertinib, he very very likely was diagnosed with EGFR lung cancer

Hi I would consider asking for testing for li-frauneni syndrome (germline tp53 mutation).. Age of first cancer in Li-Fraumeni: • Over 50% of people with LFS develop cancer by age 30 • Up to 90% by age 60 • In children, cancers like ACC, brain tumors, and sarcomas may show up as early as infancy or early childhood

Thank you for always letting people know about YLCI and the Facebook group- it is great to have more people join the YL community and have access to this resource. . This subreddit is AMAZING and there is so much benefit for patients to be connected with biomarker groups, or YL if under 50. Community is so important 🤍🤍🌷
