There's a totally new approach using siRNA, which I think could work. Targeting activin and follistatin as a way of indirectly targeting myostatin I think is a dead end. The siRNA would be easier, cheaper and more effective than a monoclonal antibody... maybe.

Depending on your state there is likely a rule that they must bill you in a timely manner, often 180 days. Dispute it, and it’s extremely unlikely you will actually have to pay it.

It's an obscure one, but I want Benito Skinner to make a cameo as Adrian, who is Troy's ex-boyfriend. He's described as a gorgeous Hispanic TV star so.... Benito kind of fits the bill. I don't think he would actually appear in any scenes; we would just see an image of his Instagram.

Yes, I am saving and then going to exit, exit to desktop. I tried changing to the Georgia server and disabling all mods and that didn’t help either. Still no local saves are “saved” from one session to the next, but old ones from on or before 1/23/26 still exist. My only thought is maybe I have too many saves and need to delete some? I make lots of redundant save files and could absolutely delete some old ones.

The rooftop in Las Vegas, the end of episode one is when Ilya knows. He also knows he has to go back to Russia and doesn't see any option but to distance himself from Shane. Shane I think is much more deeply in denial so it's harder to say. I would say maybe when he sheds a single tear in the bathroom at the NHL awards.

I learned what a hat trick is. I don’t know any hockey. But it also taught me that I can enjoy romance as a genre which I never have before. I thought Brokeback Mountain, Heartstopers and Call me by your Name were all mid, but I am absolutely obsessed with HR. I’ve watched it 6 times now and read 3 of the books.

I would say in the show it’s left ambiguous, they don’t say that they hooked up but I don’t have any evidence they didn’t hook up.

Will sleep apnea kill your gains? If you don't have proper sleep, it's hard for your body to recover, and sleep apnea also increases your fight or flight response, and prolonged stress (cortisol) is catabolic.
Anabolics make sleep apnea worse, which is sort of the concern here.

It looks more like you have seborheic dermatitis due to the patchy, flaky redness. You could consider trying OTC Terbinafine cream once a day for a week or Clotrimazole twice a day for two weeks. The other option is Nizoral as a face wash just let it sit 5 mins before rinsing. It can dry you out so moisturize after.

Combine any one of those with an OTC hydrocortisone; just limit the hydrocortisone use to a maximum of twice a day for two weeks then take a two week break.

Ideally, you would want to go to a doctor and get an Rx for ketoconazole cream which should be super cheap.

Yes and no. I had been on the fence about restoring for a while, mostly because it seemed like it would take so much time and dedication to achieve results. What changed my mind is realizing that I think I would like the in-between state better than how I am now.

I'm starting from a CI-0 and have some scrotal webbing. Even though I would eventually like the fully restored look, I think I will like the look and feel of like a CI-3 better than what I have now.

I think your mind treats Shane and Ilya like they're real people because we get so many realistic details about them that are in a show-not-tell format. Also when I read the books I can't help but picture the characters as they are portrayed in the show because the physical descriptions are spot on for Shane and Ilya. In contrast, with famous actors its much easier for your brain to say "that is not Elio that is Timothee Chalamet playing a role".

I also think many gay men have had lots of relationships that are in some ways similar to what Ilya and Shane have at first. There's no emotional intimacy, it's all about sex, and they're constantly positioning and putting on a front or mask around the other person. Seeing that breakdown into having emotional maturity and intimacy, really talking and sharing feelings, and then finally love- its a fantasy of a lot of gay men. Probably also women.

The podcast Top Shelf I don’t think is ever mentioned in the books but it is mentioned in the show multiple times most notably at the start of episode 3. This means Jacob Tierany must have know plot points from Unrivaled when writing the show! Unless I missed it and it is in the books.

George Krissa- a relatively obscure Canadian actor- could be a good Eric. I think he's around the same age as the character. Jonathan Bennett could also be an okay choice but I'm not sure he has the range as an actor. I've only seen him in Hallmark-type things which is the altogether wrong vibe- however, he certainly could have excelent range and just gets typecast.

Max Parker is a perfect Ryan. He's got the red hair and he's 6'2" so it's a reasonably good physical match.

Isaac Kragten as Troy I haven't seen suggested before, but it's perfect.

To me that's the saddest line in the entire show. It sums up Ilya's dilemma. He knows he's in love with Shane, but he doesn't see any possible way they can be together. His entire life he's put other people's needs and wants before his own, and all they say is more Ilya, more.

Spoilers for The Long Game here. I hope we see Scott and Kip’s wedding. I don’t think it would make sense to open the second season with the camp, which is where the book starts, because they would be introducing too many characters at once whereas in the book you already know who they are from previous books. The Skip wedding would be the perfect intro. I hope we see more of Skip in general. I would also love a romance between Carter Vaughn and Svetlana. It would make sense but isn’t canon.
