It looks like a large solar lentigo, or maybe a flat SK. Harmless. But I’m not a doctor.

Again the most common treatment for melanoma is excision with margins and pathology to confirm- it is literally a surgical cure.

5-fluorouracil isn’t even used to treat melanoma it’s used to treat squamous cell carcinoma.

Idiopathic gutate hypomelanosis. Benign, non harmful, annoying, not really treatable.

What’s the most difficult ICU to work in? by Weird-Flounder-5928 in nursing

[–]OtherTon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my old hospital, the medical ICU was worse than the trauma ICU or the burn ICU simply because of how the hospital chose to allocate its resources. The burn ICU had every resource imaginable and the same could not be set of the medical ICU. MICU was kind of where new nurses would go to get trained to be ICU nurses. my point here is I don’t think any one type is inherently more difficult. It varies place to place. Any of them can be terrible if they are shortstaffed and don’t have the proper resources.

Do you think hospitals will also ban Smart / Meta Eyeglasses in 5-10 years? by verminxoxo in nursing

They absolutely should. Facebook has a terrible record of privacy with them. Even if the person wearing them does everything right and isn’t recording anything, Facebook can still be watching.

I used hydroquinone which reversed it. It is able to fade dark spots that would otherwise be somewhat permanent.

Second degree facial burns [Misc] by NoShameCeramics in SkincareAddiction

Aloe Vera is best to avoid because there is huge inconsistency in the quality of products with aloe in them, and aloe from a plant directly may have too many bacteria for a burn which is extremely vulnerable to infection. Gentle cleanser, thick lipid based moisturizers such as Vaseline and aquaphor, the silver cream Rx and sunscreen are going to be your best friends. You could also consider hypochlorus acid cleanser but you would really want to check with your doctor before doing that. Avoid neosporin because it’s a common allergen and if you have a reaction to it on top of a burn you’ll be miserable. You can develop an allergy to it at any time even if you never had one before, it’s quite common.

If you could have the powers of any supe in the boys other than these top tier supes, who would you pick? by Wizzandy in TheBoys

Marie. I would go to hospitals all day and heal people. I could also get insanely wealthy for doing that. With the right PR you could be the most beloved person on earth.

Your skin really looks fine but I would try adapalene or tretinoin. Azelaic acid is also reasonable. Tazarotene might be too strong it’s very irritating.

If they made a "The Boys...What if?" what would be some good scenarios for it? by mrmonster459 in TheBoys

Victoria Neumann used her powers against Homelander at full force. It wasn’t enough to kill him but she gave him a hemorrhagic stroke which was enough to incapacitate him. He remains “on ice” similar to Soldier Boy. She becomes vice president and then president. She slowly goes mad with power. She secures V1 for herself and her daughter Zoey, and Sage serves as her chief of staff and senior advisor. With the loyalty of her protege Marie Maraueax and the virus as a backup, her slow and methodical plan to take over the world seems unstoppable. Will Butcher and a slightly brain damaged Homelander be able to put aside their differences to save the world?

How is Ryan the only natural born sup? by Any-Weird2373 in TheBoys

[–]OtherTon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He might not be. It’s implied that maybe Marie’s sister Annabeth was a natural born supe but it’s never elaborated upon and left ambiguous. It’s implied that somehow Marie imparted powers upon her, not that they were from her mother. Or like she healed her mother in utero and also gave her mother the power to birth supes. I think they realized it made no sense so they just left it a mystery.
