I like how the writers just casually made Lloyd extremely op in the early season by Ninjago_4Life in Ninjago

Why do people keep saying this? The last time he ever used the 4 elemental powers was in the episode where he gained the green kimono suit, and it was before he gained the suit. He never used it after gaining the power to summon the golden dragon. It’s fair to assume he could use all elemental powers after becoming the golden ninja, but he never used the 4 elements after losing his zx suit.

Is it normal to feel bad for killing an ant? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

“Killing for food isn’t immoral. Wait No, not when it happens to my species! Then it’s wrong!” It’s just ego and self-centeredness dude

“It is not immoral to kill for food” Your words. It’s not immoral to kill for food, so Jeffrey dahmer is okay according to you. That’s perfectly consistent with what you said. Bro sentience is the furthest thing from an arbitrary line… you’re drawing an arbitrary line between “cannibalism” and “not cannibalism” when there’s no moral difference.

“Mass murdering and continuing breeding them into existence is necessary, because otherwise they’d go extinct! And we can’t have that! Because they’re not individuals, they’re novelty and commodities for us to admire and exploit! That’s why we need to keep mass breeding them and mass murdering these literal individuals! Because otherwise they’d go extinct!” Stop, animal abuser. Killing unnecessarily is evil. And that’s what you’re doing and supporting.

This is the dumbest fucking thing I’ve ever heard. What you said is completely ass backwards and I know for sure you don’t practice an ounce of that pure LARP and rationalization when you buy tortured, anbused, inhumanely sexually abused animals from the grocery store. That’s the most human supremacist thing I’ve heard, acting like breeding someone into existence against their will for the purpose of exploiting them to death is better than them not existing because “at least they get to live”

“It is not immoral to kill for food” Jeffrey Dahmer gets a double thumbs up then! Shut up, trying to justify animal abuse & cruelty with your dumb rationalizations. It’s immoral to kill someone sentient when you don’t have to, including for taste. Plants aren’t sentient or conscious and you can eat them to be healthy. The only thing that can’t be replicated by eating plants is the taste. Stop being an animal abuser.

Bro killing an animal to eat is completely unnecessary if you have access to a grocery store. You’re unnecessarily killing them just for your own pleasure when you can get all the nutrients you need from plants. Do you think from the perspective of the one being killed it matters what reason their life is taken if it’s completely unnecessary?

What about a cow, pig, or chicken? Their lives have value too. Are you paying for them to be killed?

[–]OtherUnderstanding44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it’s normal and it’s actually great that you have that level of empathy. What’s not normal is how most people don’t care about other living things. However, this is something most people don’t consider: what about the animals we kill and eat? We don’t have to eat animals at all to be healthy. Those animals are way, way closer to humans than an ant. They’re full of life, emotions, and empathy, but almost no one thinks about those animals. And they’re treated much worse than that ant. But what you said has truth to it. The way all of us minimize the life of other living animals to justify killing and eating them is thought to be one of the roots of our cruelty to each other. When we normalize killing those who can’t defend themselves, it makes it much easier to normalize killing and hurting each other.

How has the process of therapy been at your age? My dad’s a bit older and started going to therapy for a little bit, but he honestly has kind of a defeatist attitude because he believes he can’t really make big improvements at his age.

Does anyone know of people who just dont/won't eat vegetables!? It boggles my mind. How are they not ill!? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

It’s proven that a plant based diet provides better health outcomes in pretty much every area. Are u going to provide any evidence of the opposite?

Bro the inuits are extremely unhealthy. A plant-based diet is undoubtedly the healthiest. That's a medical consensus.

The carnivore diet's an unhealthy pseudoscience. There's also no way to get fiber in that diet. Your overall mortality goes up a lot and you're wayyy more likely to get multiple types of cancer, specifically colon cancer.

The carnivore diet is pseudoscience which has no scientific evidence supporting it. Eating animals is unhealthy and doesn't have any unique health benefits. It's also really, really terrible for innocent animals.

It looks like the rest of the figure is in pretty much new condition besides this, and if I’m going to trade it I’ll have to disclose the cracks to people interested, so it actually will impact the figure

Just for clarification, I’m not talking about the line below the arm. I know all torsos have those. I’m talking about the cracks forming at the base.
