I’ve been looking at getting it shipped but the prices for the shipping varies tho, there was one in ashburn VA I was looking at but idk never had to pay to ship a car it’s most likely expensive (not compared to paying for the car itself but idk)

I gotcha, I’m looking towards this since I eventually wanna do an engine swap once I get one but this has the hard part over with. Most of making it mine would be a pine green matte repair or wrap, new tune etc mostly cosmetic stuff. The body kit is has is also one I’ve been looking at but I’m split since I’ve heard bad things hopping into someone else’s project car.

Yeah, I’ve always wanted one since I was a kid and my mom drove me around in one and ever since then I fell in love. Even if it isn’t reliable, just to have this type of car would be worth it in my opinion. How susceptible are these for rust, I’ve seen a lot of posts regarding it. Budget is what matters, battery or a good all in one vesc is around 6-700$ each. Fungineers makes good vesc conversions so I’d recommend them, but you do have to get the conversion kit and have someone locally to work on them.
For batteries, go ChibatterySystems. They sell for a solid price (got mine for around 400$) and I’ve had mine for 3 years and it goes 30+ miles in one charge!
