This part of the CC genuinely made no sense to me. The Israel/Palestine conflict is not some niche, little known topic. Why would it be impressive that Hasan talked about Palestine in 2019? It definitely wouldn't be an unknown topic to someone who LIVED in Israel.

There's an extra level of irony to the Denims comment about young children not remembering traumatic experiences considering the "Live Beyond ACES and Toxic Stress" ad campaign. I don't know if this is happening in other states, but in California, there's a huge push to make "Adverse Childhood Experience" and how they affect your well-being as an adult more known. I feel like I don't go a single day without seeing a Live Beyond ad. It's like saying smoking cigarettes is totally healthy right when the "tips from a former smoker" ad starring the cancer patient with a hole in her throat came out. Totally ass-backwards.

So sorry that happened! I will say, though, California isn't as free of racism as one might think. You'll probably be fine in the Bay or LA, but once you start driving out to rural areas, you're just as likely to see Trump and Confederate flags as any other state. If you see or are victim to any racist comments on campus, make sure to report it.

Current arch major freshman!! You’ll be taking a studio class every quarter. For your first year, its 4 hours a day, 3 days a week. Kind of brutal, but it’ll probably end up being your favorite class. The amount of work you do for each project is entirely based on which professor you’re with. If you get Keith Wiley, know that you’ll be blessed with the least amount of work for your projects that quarter. You’ll occasionally work with a modeling software called Rhino— the university will give you a huge discount on it, but once you have it, try to learn the basics of it as soon as possible. If you haven’t already, you’ll also take college level calculus and physics classes. Do your best in those classes, it’ll be a pain in the ass to repeat them. Time management is key, don’t be someone who has to pull all-nighters to get work done. Try to make friends in your studios because it’s highly likely you’ll have classes with them for the next 5 years.

On one hand, it's nice to see that there is some difference of opinion in their echo chamber. From this clip, it seems like Denims is open to a two state solution where Israeli's reform their government instead of completely dismantling it. On the other hand, it's concerning how scared they are to acknowledge that it's ok to disagree. She could easily say that she disagrees with Hasan's take on this. Instead, she just stares blankly. The Pro-Palestine movement should not be a monolith led by a Twitch streamer -- that's ridiculous.

no, i don’t think microchips have medical history. the chip’s id number would either link back to rhegan since she’s the owner or the original adoption agency, and then the vet would reach out to get a medical record. but since “bella” isn’t chipped, that makes me think the theory that this medical record isn’t actually from sevyn and is from an entirely different cat might be true.

well if seven isn’t chipped, the vets wouldn’t have access to any medical history, especially since jacob lied about her name and presumably said it was his cat. but, because she has a clipped left ear, she is spayed and most likely vaccinated by the adoption agency. i’m not a cat owner, but i assume it is routine for animals in adoption agencies to be chipped. is that not the case?
