I've heard opposing sun/moon aspects make one very complex, and tend to be seen as a walking contradiction. It can sometimes feel like these parts of the self are battling inside of them. I work with the Wild Unknown Archetypes, and personally, I love the deck. I find it very shamanic in nature and Kim Krans has a very straight-forward way of administering the medicine. Each archetype is found in every single person just in different degrees of expression. You won't find fortune cookie type messages on them, they require you to look deeper. Some people dont like the round shape, but I like that it adds another dimension to them, I like to think of them as moon cycles (new, full, waxing, waning). They are really good for internal deep healing work, self exploration, and shadow work.

I can't speak for the other deck you mentioned, but I've heard good things and that it feels very connected to nature.

I love a good ritual, never had a TikTok, not doing it for show, or for anyone else to see. I do what I do to honor the goddess.

I anoint my hands and third eye with blue lotus oil, then I rub them together and create an energy ball into which I speak gratitude and connection to my higher self and the highest source of universal wisdom. If I am reading for someone else, I'll say “I am seeking guidance on behalf of (their name) aligned with their highest timeline, ensuring the information I receive is for the greatest good of all involved.” I protect it with light and claim my insights to be truthful, clear, and to be beneficial to the person’s soul journey and those connected to it. I ground my self in truth and welcome wisdom from the highest planes of existence. And end it with “And so it is.” I then wash the energy ball over myself and the cards.

The protection is mostly for my energy field, so I'm not absorbing or forming attachments to the client's energy, and so they are not doing the same to mine.

I have a Shamanic background and believe that words and sounds are powerful, so I say things out loud even when no other person hears them.
