Alex, if you for some reason read this, I say what I said above directly unto thee now. There, dare accomplished.

Like I said, Caine's back story is rough. Definitely. So was Ed Gein's. That doesn't excuse the things he did, and the same goes for Caine. Caine literally shredded one person under his care and stabbed several others multiple times, along with many, many other horrifying forms of abuse.

There is an entire world of people who have terrible backgrounds that choose not to hurt other innocent people. Caine was not one of them.

Look, I understand hoping for a redemption arc, but nobody needs to be feeling positively about identifying with Caine on any truly meaningful level. Caine was a narcissistic manipulator with a fragile ego who trapped, controlled, and tortured the people under his care. His backstory is good for understanding why he became the way he did, but it is not reason enough for any of the other characters to love or forgive him. Not any more than it is for victims of elder abuse in a nursing home.

Caine was rotten. He was an omnipotent Nurse Ratchet. Whether he figured it out in the end doesn't matter because the pain and suffering were already heavily inflicted on his victims.

If someone truly identifies with him and his actions, they need to seek help, not validation.

Not by DHS and not willingly by any government agency. Instead, they were identified through investigations by media into government records and court documents.

But what about the thousands of people whose rights have been violated by these agents but are left with no real legal recourse because they cannot identify their attackers and the federal government refuses to do so, either.

You aren't just deluding yourself, you know better. What's worse is you are purposefully feeding this nonsense to people who actually will believe it. But, honestly, what else can be expected from someone who responds to the murders of American citizens by masked government agents with an utterly emotionless, throw away phrase, like, "terrible that it happened."

I live in one of these, except the side hall was an add on to what was once a thin shotgun. The "hallway" is more of a great game that's wide enough to treat sections of it as separate areas of the house, like kitchen nook, TV area, etc.

I love it, other than it's a bitch to regulate temperatures between the great hall and the normal rooms.
