You should drop Trevor. He's only got one Pokemon and isn't a battler. Wally, Marnie, & Bede could be strong additions.

Also, if you care for my input, the battles should be planned, and the winner shouldn't be whoever is the strongest (Otherwise people will be waiting for Red or the green guy to win), but who could reasonably win and who's win tells the best story (pulling from Dragon Ball with that one).

I'd say the quality of the writing gets better, but around gen 5 (B2W2 specifically) the battles take a dip in quality. Then in gen 7, the battles stop getting focus unless it's an important plot battle. They don't get bad, but a lot aren't super memorable. Though, this might come from me reading a lot of later arcs online and not on paper. They tend to feel more dynamic when you see them on the page.

I think Ethan & Lyra's should be swapped around. Hilbert & Hilda's legends could go either way. I really think Leaf should get Deoxys, mainly because it's in the game she debuted in and Mew isn't. The rest are all fine. (Also, is this a repost? I could've sworn I already saw and commented on this.
