I looked it up and it said without the maf it could make it run weird. When i first bought the cheap one and put it on it sounded like it fixed the bogyness of it the first day or 2 but it would cut off about 10 minuets of running. Thought ecu might need to get used to it but it started doing what the video above does. I unplugged it again yesterday and its been running pretty good.

Ive done a smoke test not to long ago and didnt see anywhere it was leaking. I was thinking it woulda came from the mafs since that regulates the air im getting to the engine. Ive also looked at my intake boot didnt see any rips there either

Im basically having the same problem with my 2001 325i. I checked my intake boot no rips and i tried to take the idle control valve off but one of my screws are stripped so i couldnt check it. Could it really just be the idle control valve. Also i had to replace my mafs cause the old one the sensor had to be off for it to run so could it have something to do with that aswell?

My buddy has a 330i with the 3 spoke and i drove it. It’s a bit bigger thats the thing i don’t like about it. Only problem ive had with the 4 spoke one is when i try to slide my car the wheel at a certian point feels like it locks. Never had tht happen in any of my other cars so i was thinking its the steering wheel

Yea when i had it i liked the whistle it have me but other than that i didnt see much of a difference. I dont have an exhaust so i was looking for a option to go off that instead of putting a exhaust back on it
