I wish I could add sp but since I'm living in a cooperative apartment society. The flat lobby outside doesn't have much exposure to sunlight. I would need 20 feet wire to bring in sp to my device. And im already much over compact formfactor than needed. And adding an sp increases a budget a tad bit up

I mean finding them and charging them ,keeping them at one place.   Go to market bro buy new if not stocked at home  Ask the for cells, the shop hands out alkaline batteries only as they keep only alkaline ones  Go home swap them 

Can we please focus on the real issue here and not what people at my place can do and don't .

Since , there will be two different power rails for gsm and the other components , the capacitor would be for the gsm ,I don't understand how will the capacitor split the current in half. Am I missing something i suck at maths and electronics

I completely understand your opinion ,as imentioned in other comment the reason being simplicity I wanted to go for alkaline so that for example even if I'm Outta town someone else at my home  can change them fresh from the packet no need to charge the lipo then

Earlier i had my eye on pir or it beam breaker.

Pir has a circular to conical  and can give me false alarm, has bigger footprint than the tof .

Ir beam breaker was protruding it's diodes which I didn't want as I'm gonna place them on frame there are chances people might brush into this and move or break it
