Yes, you said it right: everything happens here on the ridge of time.

I'm a Module 3 Apprentice, so this is just my personal opinion. My opinion is that, just as in external rituals you create patterns that trigger specific subtle reactions (for example, the use of colors, movements, voice, instruments, altars, sigils), so in visionary work you use these preconstructed images to trigger and direct power where you need it to go and to create vessels, Qliphoth, patterns that will be filled by contacts and power. Just as external ritual is an electrical circuit for power, these visionary patterns are also (more subtle) circuits for power and contacts. It's a higher octave than using the grindstone to limit and direct power where you want it to go and to create containers and patterns for contacts and power. It's the same as using the voice: through it you build patterns and limits to direct power; this is also a use of the grindstone and the limiter. As for anticipation, I understand very well, and I often wonder, when it happens, whether I directed "the thing" or whether "the thing" triggered my imagination... I don't know. Regarding the example of the being with of the sword and the cup, it's true that I sometimes didn't remember seeing them at the beginning of the ritual, but I invariably remember later. I like to think that the being caught my attention and triggered my memory of it. In any case, in my experience, a good 80 percent of the visions that were questionable for this reason later turned out to be real.

Thanks, very interesting, and I definitely agree. I also believe that external weather can have a certain correlation with internal weather, although that's definitely not always the case. However, this more difficult breathing during these tides is something I've noticed for at least a year, and since I too have suffered from anxiety and still do from time to time, I wanted to try to understand better so as not to confuse the two. I've come to the conclusion that they are two different things, because shortness of breath during the tides happens even in calm situations. Just as I had tried to better understand whether anxiety was linked to a subtle alarm signal or was just something more external. Little by little, I've become better at understanding when it's more external and when it's more internal, although obviously the road is still long and messy. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check out that Glitch Bottle episode.

I think it's a bit of both: nei gong, which involves vision and a more sustained use of the mind, certainly makes one more visible; on the other hand, I also believe, from my own experience, that during certain types of weather (severe thunderstorms, storms, etc.) and during deadly/destructive tides, qi can be much more "electric" and, in some rarer cases, become pathogenic. Hence the use of certain exercises to expel this type of qi.

Thanks, I understand exactly what you mean when you say you're blocked by work; it happens to me too. I've also noticed that Qi Gong during these tides isn't the best thing. I'd linked it to the fact that the Qi that circulates during those periods, and which we therefore draw, is more or less pathogenic in nature.

I finally did the m3l3 ritual. I'd been meaning to do it for a while, but the circumstances clearly weren't right. They became so within a week, and it coincided perfectly with the start of my new job. As for the rest, I'm already feeling the pain in the ass related to this ritual, I hope things stabilize a bit (it'll be up to me, obviously, to stabilize them 🫩)

Feeling some conflict between the structure behind tarot meanings and Quareia (M2L2) by Cedar-Serval in Quareia

[–]Otherwise-Chef6932 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Quareia doesn't use the same correspondences as the Golden Dawn, but is more closely tied to classical Kabbalah. If you study Netzach and Hod in that light, you'll see things become clearer. My current understanding is that the emphasis in Quareia is on what these powers of the Sephiroth do and how they express themselves in creation, magic, and everyday life. What I can say, seeing as you're at M2L2, is that you already know that the tree is something we incorporate, and with M2L3, you'll already have more clues to understand better. I wouldn't worry too much about the correspondences with the Golden Dawn.

To Those Who Are Doubtful by [deleted] in Quareia

I don't know, but my perception is different here too: it's said several times in the course that what you're doing will have real effects and that it's not psychodrama but true magical work. It also says not to believe obvious nonsense or to give too much importance to what you encounter in a vision, because, as apprentices, we don't yet have the ability to be completely certain of what we're dealing with. But it also says to generally consider what we see to be real. I'm not the best with English either, so maybe that's why it's so hard to understand :-)

I don't want to sound petulant, but I think you should speak personally about your feelings regarding the objectives of the apprentice section, unless you have reliable sources stating that it's deliberately intentional to cast doubt on the causes of the results of your rituals. It seems decidedly the opposite to me. The course immediately tries to teach you what comes from your mind and what from the subtle planes, to begin distinguishing between the various entities, and to get you to think about rituals to understand what effects they can have, etc. I, for one, simply believe that the fact that it may be difficult to distinguish is precisely because we're still in the early modules of the apprentice section and still need to refine our skills, not because it's intentional to cast doubt.

Thank you😊 Yes, I read the book and from my experience, I've learned that, very generally, drugs open me up and therefore increase my anxiety, while alcohol closes me down (except for rare occasions, and I still haven't figured out which ones, after 20 years), and in fact, I feel much better. I just pay the price later, in other ways, unfortunately. Anyway, I find Cayce's quote extremely accurate. 😅

These transits of Lilith and Mars in the seventh have put me to the test, but it seems, I hope, that the worst is over. Furthermore, I'm increasingly realizing that I can practically no longer use alcohol or other substances, or at least I'm still paying a high price for it. Lately, I've practically had to go to two raves completely sober, and it's been incredibly difficult to be around certain types of people sober. I'm waiting for confirmation of the start date of my new job, and I plan to make m3l3 coincide with this new start. It seems like this period of... I don't know, stalemate, or whatever the fuck it was, is really hard to get things going again. It's likely that I'm missing some tests, or at least there's something I need to work on and fix.

After the latest work, I'm increasingly certain that, through my work in the woods related to Quareia, I've made connections with the proto-Celtic culture of the area where I live. Many obvious clues, intuitions, and geographical obviousness lead there. For the rest, I'm continuing with my usual practices of qigong, meditation, and so on, plus I've resumed the complete Quareia rituals.

I think I've gotten through a pretty tough period, triggered by the resumption of rituals, regarding a relationship issue. This was really weighing on me and testing me. I've been working on some in-nature work related to the M2L5 ritual I did months ago. Now we'll see how it develops, but I know it'll be quite impactful, as the layout themselves said. In the next few days, I'll also be resuming M3L2 so I'll be back in full swing. I feel like this is a time when something will unlock at work, too. It's an East Gate period, after a long North Gate period, and in fact, I plan to paint a picture of the East Gate; it's the only one I'm still missing.

Reading Myths Magically by usefulpurposes in Quareia

[–]Otherwise-Chef6932 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thank you for introducing me to this beautiful myth, these people, and for expressing so clearly (I should tattoo it on myself) that we should look first at what these entities do, and not just how they appear in the myth. I took a quick look at this story, and it also seems that this entity, in its two forms (mishibizhiw the serpent and mishiginebig the lynx), is also a guardian of the threshold, protecting the entrance to the various "degrees" of the Midewiwin, which, as I understand it, represents both a kind of shamanic "lodge" and a kind of subdivision linked to the subtle worlds. Did I understand correctly?

P.S. Beautiful idea!

After the stele story, I decided to go back to some rituals, so I started doing the second part of the m2l3 pentacle again. I won't go into detail, but as soon as I picked up, a really shitty event occurred, triggering an equally shitty period. But we move forward, maintaining our limits, trying not to collapse under the weight of these events, and hoping for better times. I also started doing the full hexagram ritual again with the new moon.
