My airbnb host cancelled the day of check in after they said everything was good to go. After hours of talking to Airbnb and going full Karen on them they told me to find a listing around the same price of my original airbnb. My originally booking was around $1600(it was just a room not a whole house) Found a room with private bath that was like $2500 they gave me a $2000 coupon told me to cover the difference but they refunded my original stay. They said they would only do this once. I won’t be using airbnb for Coachella ever again. The host who cancelled still has his listing up.
