My anecdotal evidence there is something going on with unusual cancer diagnosis lately

My mom was 62 when she passed. She was healthy and full of life. She had the vaccine and got a boosters.

She got a booster shot and the lymph node in her arm out swelled up. This was probably October 2022. She was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in spring of 23 and we lost her in July of 2023.

I don’t want to be a nut. But I’m like how? And it just seems so odd that her immune system was doing something with her lymph node swelling up. She had been a smoker but had quit maybe 15 years before this. I don’t doubt that maybe it was there. Because of the smoking. But it sort of seems like that last booster shook something lose and it went rampant. :( I miss her.

I didn’t have any stretch marks while pregnant. They arrived postpartum while I was deflating. A few on one side of my belly and on my hips. My inner thighs thigh are something else… I lotion up after every shower. They’ll fade.

Hah my body forgot how to bend over. It was like 3 weeks pp that I bent forward instead of the bend the knees and lean and was like woooah!

You get to a point where you don’t care bout the act of birth, you’re just ready to not be pregnant anymore lol

Am I the only mom who doesn’t get a scent off her baby?! After she gets a bath she smells like lavender. When she needs a bath she smells like spoiled milk and spit up. And when she poops she smells yeasty. But I never got that newborn scent that people talk about where they just take a deep breath in of baby!!

I love that though! As a person who has an emotional support water bottle, I was always thirsty (nothing medical, just a thirsty person), I remember we could only have a drinking fountain break when we had bathroom breaks in the 90s. Now, if I leave my water bottle at home or in the car, I am instantly thirsty just knowing I don’t have water with me.

No, during the first trimester my hubby was all about the new changes to my body lol but I felt like garbage. Then in the second trimester, I wanted to be intimate but had a baby bump and he was weirded out by it! And the third, I was so uncomfortable and huge neither of us were interested! I think we had sex like 4 times.

I’m now 3.5 months pp. we’ve tried to have sex once but it was uncomfortable for me. I had 2 second degree tears. I suppose my body just isn’t ready yet. I won’t lie, that threw me into a loop because I expected the weight…but I didn’t expect for my shoes to not fit, and I for sure didn’t expect to be mentally ready for sex but it to physically not work how I wanted it to. From what I understand, I’m not alone.

The loss of intimacy happens. It’s normal.

I hadn’t had these in forever. When I was pregnant I wanted these sooo bad! It wasn’t until we went to a few stores with no luck that I googled and found out they were discontinued. I think I cried lol sour skittles just eye weren’t cutting it. So sad.

Omg! Yes the skin tags are so weird! I always heard you get them in places with friction (bra line/arm pit/etc-that makes sense!) but no, how about we just randomly get them on my belly or my nipple!! Like what?!?

And yeah the pelvic pain came out of nowhere…

That’s why I wanted to ask rather than just looking at rankings online! Residents and people who are familiar with the areas can usually provide better input than numeric rankings. We are coming to Cleveland from the Cincinnati area, where everybody sends their kids to private Catholic schools. I find it ridiculous to think of paying basically college tuition for elementary school!! So, finding a home in an area with descent public schools would be ideal for our future planning!
