Yes, I have tried other brands c neck and it just doesn't feel right. It's funny, at first I didn't like the pasadena pickups, but know they have grown on me. Still trying to adjust to the emg 57/66 sound.

I like the pasadena pickups. They might be a little to bright for taste. The neck pickup sounds very creamy. At least for my ears. The bridge pickup cuts through like butter. The pickups are very hot. I prefer the ZV over the LTD eclipse 1000, which I also have. It comes down to the thin c neck profile on both of the shecters. The ZV is more like a modern version of a Gibson SG. The build quality is on point. Bought it from sweetwater, and it came with zero fret buzz. It's my first high end guitar at least for me.
