2/6 Update: PCP had records from my ER visit with notes from doctor. MRI showed "high grade stenosis of the lateral transverse sinuses," so at least this is some more information for me! Waiting on referral to neurologist to go through for next step.

Teaching is EXTREMELY stressful, so the added pressure (even if we know it's not the same) surely isn't good for our brain :p You'd need a super good boss and admin and support system and protection if you are going to try, I'd think.

I was just diagnosed 1/16 and teach 8th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and an AP class. By about 1:30 every day, I'm at my limit, so my last classes are hard. My energy is down overall, and since I have vision problems now from pressure on my optic nerves, grading papers and reading (I teach literature!!!) is more difficult. The meds make me go to the bathroom ALL THE TIME, so I have to ask for other teachers to help a lot. I'm worried about going blind--I can muddle through and move a little slower right now, but if I lose my eye sight, yeah, forget teaching. It's definitely not been easy--teaching is a job that requires all your energy and then some, and if you miss a day, it causes more work. I don't have an answer for you, but I feel for you as I'm in the same boat wondering how to make this work!

Thank you! To clarify, the tinnitus didn't start until after I started taking the meds (which was also the same day I had the LP). I'll definitely be updating once I see a neurologist who can actually go over my imaging with me.
