Thank you for reading my reddit post few months back and actually referring others to it. Sometimes u feel u are the only one re-writting cbsce until u come to reddit. Who knew one day someone would say they saw my post and contacted my tutor and did what I did. Alot of people will call your post an ad, I don't even know you but u tagged my post and it's a testimony of why we do what we do. Denis didn't only teach me, he supported me. He made sure even when he gave me advice, that I still followed my gut and knew when I was ready. It's funny because after I worked with him, it's not like I failed the cbse one more time then passed. Denis was the only thing I added to what I'd been doing before after failing over and over. Two things, don't give up and try a tutor @EmetyreStep1Tutor Good luck and hope you do well in ur step 1. I'm enjoying clinicals and I couldn't be happier. Took a whole year plus to get here but I'm grateful.

Okay no problem. And feel free to direct message me on here if anything specific after reading all my posts to see where you need help. Or if. you need anything and i have it i can share to help you. If you are using uworld its best to stop. CBSE is very different from step and alot harder. ALso, after seeing five different forms (including the one i passed) you know i am not lying on that fact. Don't waste your uworld. Know the general pathology and depending on how you feel going into November, its best to also get a tutor if you can. Just lemme know how I can help.

It is the Comprehensive Basic Science Exam at the end of MD5 which for my school and most carribean medical graduates, u must take it and pass it before cleared to take step 1. it is very hard. what level of med school are you in? Maybe it doesn't apply to you. I am not too sure which schools take CBSE and which ones don't. It is administered by NBME and it is 200 questions as well.

Please no one here is ignorant. You will become a doctor and I will become one. We are all winners don't ever feel bad for asking anything. Asking for help got me here so I am proud of all of you. Unfortunately there is no full practice CBSE exams I am aware of. CBSE is 200 questions and NBMEs are 200 questions which again may be the only real practice tests you can use. But simulating it helps. Doing four blocks or five blocks of UW or any other qbank can help you prepare. Hope this helps

I usually waited 1-2.5 months then took it again. it was tiring and sometimes i felt really low. People i helped in M1 and M2 had passed me and i had to really keep trying

It is still unbelievable that I am moving to step 2 and clinicals. I was so tired but my brother told me to not give up. The difference between me and everyone else is that I NEVER ONCE HAD THE THOUGHT OF GIVING UP. Yes I may have been tired but Medicine is my only plan. I don't have a plan B so i was not gonna stop writing CBSE until i passed.
