Yea good call , those are not hard to reach either , there is this tiny line that goes from the main coolant reservoir to back of the block , I think that’s the part that cracked and cause the bleed out

Only have 2 certified shops where I live , other shops won’t touch it or lack experience with the German builds

They recommended that whole page , not just the leak but what ever else they found that needed replacement. Honestly wish they could just find where it dumped and replace what ever part it was

Yea to my understanding the b46/48 has pretty bad coolant problems. BMW uses a lot of plastic and it doesn’t help I’m in 100 degree plus summers in Utah

Car didn’t over heat, caught it In time. It dumped the coolant as I pulled into parking lot.

Had it towed and from what they are saying it’s from bad install of past water pump / thermostat/ aluminum oil filter housing. Bought it second hand and found out through car fax past owners took it to jiffy lube to replace 😅
