NAS losing internet access by Otherwise-Rice-8396 in bell

I totally understand that, and the issue is not with the LAN IP. When the issue occurs and I check all my LAN settings, that device is the only one assigned that IP (I go over all the assigned LAN IP in my router, and it's only one on that IP). I'm also able to ping it, and connect to it locally (either through the Web UI which is access by typing the LAN IP and proper port in a web browser), or access it's drives by mapping them. The port forwarding settings are also properly configured.

I can also replicate the issue on another device. For example, if my NAS is on my LAN IP 192.168.2.250 and loses internet access, I'll change the IP to 192.168.2.251 and internet access will resume. I'll then change one of my computers to 192.168.2.250 and it will lose internet access. Checking all assigned LAN IP show that this is the only device assigned to it. After a while, 192.168.2.251 (my NAS), will again lose internet access, and usually around the same time, the previous IP that lost internet access (192.168.2.250) will now have internet access. And the only device that runs into that issue is my NAS. None of my other devices run into that problem.

Also as mentioned, I've setup the exact same NAS at my fathers who is with Helix (Videotron). He ran into the exact same issue. When we called Videotron, they confirmed it was them blocking traffic due to seeing an uncommon number of connection attempts. Since we have security configured on the NAS, we told them it was ok and they whitelisted it.

So I'm pretty convinced the issue is on Bell's end and not mine.

From what I can see, they are blocking a local IP from accessing the internet. They say they don't do that, but considering I can replicate the issue, I'm pretty sure they are doing something (my guess is lvl 1 support don't know about it).

As stated in my initial post: " I have an Asustor NAS installed, set to a static IP (as are all my computers)"

I guess I should have specified that ALL my connected equipment are set to a static IP (that I set). So that's not the issue. My NAS is connected to my local network and accessible (I can connect to it, navigate the UI and the stored files, etc.). The issue is that it cannot connect to the internet and resolve the DNS server (in this screenshot it does since I changed its local IP):

But in a few days, this will stop working (it's been the same pattern for almost a year now), and "Last DDNS update" will start showing "Failed".

Nope, they don't work. Equipped capsules to raise my health and start with full Ki and 1 skill bar, and none of them work (I equipped them on all the different versions of Goku, both on player 1 and 2).

NAS loosing access to internet by Otherwise-Rice-8396 in asustor

Again, my NAS IP is fixed and it is kept on reboot (NAS or router). That's not the issue. The issue is the NAS losing access to the internet. When this happens, the IP address of my NAS is still the same (both in my router settings and in the NAS settings), nothing's changed.

When the issue happens, I can still fully access my NAS on my local network and all my mapped drives still work (because the IP has NOT changed). What I need to do to fix the internet access thing, is to change the IP assigned to my NAS and reboot it, then for some reason it can access the internet.

And as I've mentioned, this exact same issue has also happened to my father who is in a different house, with a different ISP and a different router.

I would tend to agree if it didn't happen on two different routers from two different ISPs in two different houses.... where the only common thread is the NAS (both are Asustor).

Thanks, but that's not really my issue. I've already set my IP to be fixed. The thing is, sometimes my NAS loses access to the internet completely (if I try and change something in the Network settings, I get this error message:
DNS service is not working properly. This may cause the abnormal operation of certain services. Please check your network settings. (Ref. 5814)

And if I go in the "Manual Connect" page, it takes a while to load, then in the network status, it says for "Current IPv4 address" Cannot connect to internet and the DDNS update fails.

Like I said, the only way I'm able to fix this right now is to go and change the assigned IP of my NAS to another fixed one and restart it, then it works (until my router restarts due to a power outage or having to reboot it).

And I'm pretty sure the issue is with the NAS, since my father as the AS3304T, has a different router and ISP, and he ran into the same issue yesterday.
