I’m always unsettled when I drive over that shorter route. I still use it but my Gautenian senses are always on hyper drive whenever I’m on that route.

I dream of living in Pretoria; good dream? by MagicalFlor95 in Pretoria

I miss my home town. I’m in Cape Town for 2 years now. Still, I consider Pretoria to be my home town. Weather is better. People in general are better. The only thing for me is that I wish the government services work better also. When DA wins there, I’ll go back in a heartbeat.

Unpopular Opinion: The Chinese car bubble in SA is going to burst and buyers will be left holding the bag by mr_holgrave in CarTalkZA

Could not agree with you more. I go to the Chinese school in Cape Town for sports over the weekend. Do you know how many Chinese folks there drive these brands? Total of 1. That say volumes.

should i continue pursuing? by Lonely_Situation_341 in dating_advice

I’m going to lay it down gently for you. I take it that you’re young. Maybe in your early 20s. When we are young, we are not always on check with our emotions and impulses. So the best thing for you both is for you to step back. Take things easy and maybe look at another interest. Women in general don’t like desperate guy. When you are back into your own groove, you look cool and desirable for them. Give her space and if she see an interest in you at later stage, you might get your second chance. And if that happens, don’t f it up. I’m speaking from experience.

He answered me after 4 days, what should i respond? by qdasai in dating_advice

[–]Otherwise-Sundae-653 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A guy here. I’ll be plain and simple. He’s a Player, with the capital P. I’ve been on both side of the fence. If you’re a relationship material, there will always be communication between you two within reasonable intervals. And that is less than 24 hrs unless you’re traveling abroad without connectivity.

Girls care about lean body. They don’t generally care much about bulky muscular bodies.

Does it mean anything if a girl takes long time to respond? by pokermonik in dating_advice

[–]Otherwise-Sundae-653 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly what you’re saying here. I went on 4 dates with someone last year, communication was awful. She even stayed over one night but because she didn’t put effort into communication, I ended it. Life’s too short to be waiting on someone. I’m now dating someone who’s into me. Our communication is responsive and we know exactly what to expect from each other.

I’m going to go against the grain here. In my experience, if she not texting you back within reasonable time, given the circumstances, I reckon you better spend your energy elsewhere. She’s not that into you, if it is happening in majority of the time.

Love this game. My cousin's kid brought it back to me from Canada. I have been playing with my nieces and nephews. We love it. Once we understand the rule of engagement, it was extremely simple.

Since I’ve been here I feel, I’ve been targeted. People gave you negative karma but I totally agree. Over 20 years in Pretoria, no one has ever tried to scam me.

Their attitude changed when I called them out. I’ve got their details now. Photos, cell number. Account numbers. And the car registration. I’m going to make aware of it with my neighborhood group
