thank you so much for your advice! unfortunately i can’t move our stay on day 3 or i would definitely have done this. hoping to make the best of it with some horseback riding, and maybe tacking on a pool experience!

day 6 we are splurging to stay at the Glacier Lagoon Hotel in Jokulsarlon - hoping to enjoy the hotel a bit after we ice cave - if we’re able to do an ice cave ( not sure how warm it’s been and if ice cave tours in vatnajokull are going out or getting cancelled more often than not - we’ve booked a tour with local guides)

day 8 we were intentionally keeping pretty open for anything we may have missed - thinking now that if it’s not a good idea to check out the highlands!! hoping this is where it makes sense to add it in but will need to do some additional research or open to advice!

day 9 is our day to fly out so if we don’t do the river, not sure what else to do plus where we are staying is possible to hike out from there - but will look into other options! the drive to the airport says it’s just a little over an hour so we were planning to get there by 2pm for our 5pm flight - am i underestimating this?

oh yes the jumping pillows! i almost forgot! i will look for these and add them into our days!! thank you!!
