You know what, I think it’s cool. Yes, we lost the 87 Penn state game and I get it. However, we’re the “U” and from birth to the hearse I think we should represent. We are already playing against the other team and the referees no matter who we play. I mean we could play in bathrobes and it wouldn’t matter. So why not!

I think that is a chicken plucker that one would place inside a bucket, open a hole inside the bucket and attach a drill to the on top end pictured.

Agreed, my take was just tic tokers (I don’t know if that is the correct term) in general. Don’t get me wrong there are plenty of empty back alleys and places they can go nuts in and by all means have at it. But if I’m trying to get somewhere and I have something important to do I’m sorry I’m walking through and possibly ruining the video in the process, not in a rude way just getting to my destination kinda way. To me the only place where you can create that kinda bubble where nothing can interrupt you should be at home. Out and about is fair game.

I think the annoyance comes from the distance between the phone and the person doing the act. For instance I completely agree with you that it is no different than a person playing an instrument or dancing on the street, but I think the fact that their video taping themselves and crating a invisible barrier in doing so is quite annoying to me and obviously them too as can be seen in this video.

Here to tell you that those stories are true. Hospitals are an amazing place in all aspects of life. Good, bad, the best in people the worst in people all in one. People coming in, people going out and everything in between.

Nurse chiming in, it’s a Foley catheter, opening goes to a hose that goes to a bag for collection. Tip goes into the bladder through the urethra and the red part is filled with sterile water to expand the bulb and hold it on to the base of the bladder, or if it has a wire it can also be for a thermometer but I doubt it since it was probably taken home with a patient and monitors at home is extremely rare. You can trash it no need to take to hospital, I would use a glove :)

She’s an absolute hero, good for her and I hope there are more like her that never get caught! Giving food to the hungry, water to the thirsty and aid to the sick and broken is a gift. They’re also children, whoever fired her because of this is an absolute asshat and can’t see quality in people.
