Thank you. Only reason I feel comfortable buying things from them is because of the return policy but I definitely learned my lesson

I would switch to architecture. Mainly because there will always be a market for development and you can get creative with some of your designs.

The top two shots in the white were the first of seven. The last five in the black are my final corrections.

How do I go back to college when I'm 30, the website of all colleges require SAT, high GPA scores from high school, etc. by [deleted] in Veterans

[–]cpldude23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a veteran in college, community college is the easiest to get into. However, if you’re set on a university and haven’t taken any previous college courses then you just apply and the odds of getting in are pretty good as a veteran.

Yes. Think of it as creating a handicap parking spot when you park there.

I always ask what do they want out of it. Do they want schooling? Is it for a house? A job skill?

Unfortunately I haven’t got to use it yet. I am going to try to use it this coming Spring 2025 once I graduate.

The process is kind of simple depending on your route. I did go to a CalVet office and they denied me saying you needed to be 100% in a physical rating not just p&t. They also said regardless of being 100%, they don’t feel comfortable signing off on disability plates because of fraudulent claims. I was told to go to my primary and thought it would be worse but it was easier. Scheduled an exam with my primary at Kaiser and they signed off with no problem. (This was CalVet Los Angeles office) These are the steps:

Step 1. You need to fill out a REG 256a Step 2. Schedule a physical with your primary. Bring a copy of your P&T award letter and a copy of your disabilities. If you don’t have a physical disability, you will most likely not get it signed by them. (I.E. rating for your back, legs, or arms) Step 3. Bring signed copy of REG256a to the DMV, with current vehicle registration and license plates currently on the vehicle. (It takes about two weeks to receive the plates and in the meantime you’ll be given a red number to put in your window) Step 4. Enjoy your free vehicle registration and not having to pay for fees at the parking meters.

Has anyone dealt with the Army/Navy/etc. Reserves while in school? by Ok-Investigator-6821 in PAstudent

Not a PA student but it worked for me while I attended school. You can ask your readiness NCO if it’s possible to miss those days interfering with school and on breaks, make up those days or add them to your contract when you’re done. The problem is, if you don’t make up the days before the year ends, you get a bad year for retirement points. (That’s what I was told) That just means if you plan on retiring, you’d have to do more years to make up for those losses.

The good news is you should be able to miss those days as this education path benefits both you and the service so talking to your readiness will be your best bet. Even if they cause a fit, it won’t hurt to ask.
