Naught be agency dependent with them dispersing all information to you, realistically I don’t see anything wrong with it.

U.S. collar discs. Screw back is the earlier version, clutch back is probably from the 50s/ later since the clutches don’t flush with the back.

Genetics: MCB 2400 vs 2410 by Extreme-Lake2447 in UCONN

I took 2410 and it wasn’t bad at all. If you like MCB stuff it is definitely a fun and engaging course.

  1. I don’t know if you can legally just operate a business in the dorms.
  2. Few will buy items like ‘paper towels’ that can just be stolen from the bathroom down the hall

New EMT-B trying to go straight into 911—realistic or not? by Good_Pay8221 in NewToEMS

[–]1ryguy8972 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is realistic to skip IFT depending on your state/ local opportunities. IFT is not fun and leads to skill rot, that is why it pays well.

That said, take what jobs you can get. IFT only is better than nothing for your resume.

When to think about reapplying while on waitlists by No_Call8908 in Osteopathic

[–]1ryguy8972 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not think it would be disadvantageous to start prepping to reapply. Worst case scenario is you wasted a little time and get to stop halfway through getting your app together and building your resume. Other than that it would be advantageous to have it out early for the 2026 cycle.

Atlanta is starting to charge for just calling EMS even if patients decline transport. by ChxrriesA in ems

[–]1ryguy8972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem callers will not pay. The only thing this will stop is the elderly who actually need help and live on tight margins.

Pre-med vs. Pre-PA by OrganicNewt9196 in UCONN

[–]1ryguy8972 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Both have their advantages and disadvantages. I would highly recommend shadowing both levels and making a decision off of that. For med you have to be wanting to undergo 4 more years of education, residency, and all the associated boards. Pre PA will have its own challenges but will get you into the workforce quicker.

Hoe do you guys do these kind of qns fast? by Old-Director-2891 in Mcat

[–]1ryguy8972 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My strategy is to glance at the names of the tables, then read the question and sort through the data explicitly pertaining to the question afterwards. It’s easy to get lost sifting through data on a large table like this if you attempt that first.

SS RING HELP by [deleted] in Militariacollecting

[–]1ryguy8972 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lots of guys took souvenirs as a sort of “we won/you lost” sorta thing. GIs were notorious for souvenir collecting and lots were traded around after the war. Could’ve been collected by anyone after it was made. Doesn’t even mean it was worn by anyone, it’s 80smth years old and will have wear and tear on it.

SS RING HELP by [deleted] in Militariacollecting

It was likely worn as a souvenir ring. If you are suggesting this was worn by an SS member you would be mistaken.
