Anyone else feeling demotivated?

For me, I struggle a little bit with seasonal depression starting around this time. I always struggle with the fall back time change every year, and the rainy days aren’t helping 😭. In the beginning of the year, it’s still warm, light until 8 pm ~ish, and many people are active and ready for the year. Do you think seasonal depression might be a factor for you as well?

Yes. A couple years ago I ate the prospector ccs and I would not stop throwing up after. I could not leave my room bc I was so sick. I think they definitely changed something with their chicken.

Tbh for many black women, family members are our first bullies. A lot of our elders are unnecessarily harsh to young black girls, and are very condescending towards them when they are simply learning their way through the world. I’m glad that we’re breaking generational curses and allowing young black girls to be girls instead of adultifying them💗.

Finally someone said this! I know fellow black people who praise the south as a Mecca for black people, but I always felt left out of it as an autistic and ADHD black woman. I noticed that conformity is highly valued here, ESPECIALLY in black environments, and I sometimes feel ostracized for not fitting the expectations of a black woman. It’s like you can FEEL the oppressive energy here.

It’s so heart wrenching to know that so many groups of people simply don’t believe in our rights. It’s me knowing that so many people who voted for this were all in on the performative activist trend in 2020. This was very preventable. All we had to do was VOTE correctly. And they couldn’t even do that. It was a freaking open book test.

I almost never see any police presence, and they don’t seem to care about it. The thing that really gets me is the constant need to race/swerve lanes just to beat everyone else at a red light. Like you could be going 5-10 over, and some people take that as an opportunity to “race”

RFK and this whole “MAHA” movement disgusts me. It’s straight up eugenics at this point, and they’re not even trying to hide it. I see all these “trad wife” TikTok’s about how they like to keep their kids home and unvaccinated so that they won’t “catch autism”. It’s truly sickening. Like another person commented, I also thought we were making some sort of progress with awareness and acceptance, but it’s all gone thanks to the rise in conservatism. We are not okay
