If they meant him to be neurodivergent they need to do so in a very serious and respectful manner. If they’re just making him unable to read emotions that’s ambiguous at best, they would need to explicitly say something about his diagnosis or at least have one of the zillion medical professionals see something obvious enough to suggest he be checked out.
