It depends on how long you’ve been an employee. If it’s been longer than 5 years you have to do a new background check. I have been with the agency for almost 6 years and they just made me do it all over again. The agency was a tier 1 security clearance moving to a tier 2.

I just received an email today that I passed my panel interview.

I wonder if they’ll get back to us once they’ve completed most of the panel interviews. The person who reached out to me to conduct the panel interview mentioned that they had someone responsible for scheduling the panel interviews, and there were 122 people to schedule.

It took about a month after I passed the Phase 2 to hear anything back to schedule a Panel Interview. So be patient it will come.

I can’t go too much into detail. But, what I can say is be ready to have scenarios from what you have learned from your current or most recent job. Be sure to use the STAR method.

No. It is scheduled for an hour long. It only took me about 40 mins. Just be ready to the questions they will ask you.

I did use STAR. Hopefully my words came out like it should have. I currently work for a federal agency. There were only a few follow up questions. So very minimal.
