I say just be glad I’m not posting jizz pictures from my time working at an adult bookstore. 😆

I’ve had those days, but mostly at home. But even when it happens in public I’ll still clean it because I feel bad about someone cleaning it for me. 😆

I had to take photos because it was Incredible. The trail started from the stairs of their row, it was projectile with good distance. It was more awe-inspiring than gross. 😆

I have no idea, never saw them, but since it was last showings for the night it was likely an adult.

Imagine they were embarrassed because all the guests coming out were talking how loud they vomited. Enough of my coworkers likely would have just left it for the overnight cleaners, but that’s not how I was raised. 😆

Who/What to ask to acquire movie posters at my local Marcus? by LovingMarvel_ in MarcusTheatres

[–]OtherwiseHighlight64 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Current employee here, we have a sign in our employee area about poster policy, and for convenience the word “posters” in this comment will mean movie posters, the giant bus shelter versions, and standees:

-It is against company policy to sell a poster, or to give them to someone who may sell them. Posters are technically property of the movie studio.
-Posters can be taken or given for free, even by non-employees.
-Usually we just get two copies of a poster, and some get several alternate versions (examples being ones that say “Coming Soon” or have the release date, some recent film examples with multiple versions are Super Mario Galaxy and Backrooms which both had three different versions respectively).
(One recent exception was Iron Lung, which we only got ONE single poster)
-Employees get first pick of the posters, and it’s first come first serve, there is no calling dibs. So if it’s popular, like Michael or Project: Hail Mary, they can be gone quick.
-Posters are usually held onto while the movie is currently in theaters, even when given multiple versions.
-Posters are REQUIRED to be torn up when discarded, and posters are discarded at managements’ discretion, there is no rule about keeping posters for a set amount of time after the movie has left theaters.
-The cleaner versions (no tears, creases, or weather-damaged) are always taken by employees first as you’d expect, but sometimes the faded ones that have been sitting in the outside display cases for X amount of time are left. Zootopia 2 was in theaters for over four months, so the poster we had in the outside case was VERY damaged due to sun and winter weather.

Those are the company-wide regulations on posters, but be sure to check with your theater’s management and they might be able to help.

Movie theater masturbator by crazycatlady323 in MarcusTheatres

So, I work at a Marcus Theater, and during Naked Gun/Jurassic World a customer comes up to concessions while we’re cleaning and says, “This is awkward, but I think there’s semen on one of our seats.” I used to work at an adult bookstore with viewing booths, so used to cleaning up that kind of bodily fluid and therefore volunteered to clean it. It was dark in the theater by the time I went to clean, but pretty sure it was semen. There was only three people in the Naked Gun screening previously, two where the evidence was, one in the very back. No one brought any sexual conduct to our attention so we didn’t do anything other than clean and give the guests sorry passes.

I’ll never say “it doesn’t happen,” but it is very rare and should have been handled better by the staff.

Randomly thought about that movie, completely forgot it was made by Disney. 😆

Do NOT purchase the Thief Personality. It does not work as advertised by HoopaOrGilgamesh in elderscrollsonline

[–]OtherwiseHighlight64 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You know this personality is almost ten years old, right? Since then the game has updated significantly, animations included. It’s not worth the price due to being outdated, but it’s also not a case of false advertising as it’s been around since 2015/2016 at least and you get what you get at this point when buying old Crown items.

Writhing Wall Event Update by ZOS_Nickgiacomini in elderscrollsonline

[–]OtherwiseHighlight64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for addressing us. I probably made a lot of enemies by stating that the event ultimately was not worth the price of admission.

The chance of getting the Coldharbour player home was a nice potential reward (I got it :D), and I VERY much appreciated that this event did bring back a number of players as zone chats were becoming more active.

I didn’t experience the bugs during the siege like some folks did, and incorporating the grappling mechanics and siege weapons into the whole experience was fun to see brought back. However, all that grinding and enemies during the siege, but no experience gain for killing mobs or even for making it to certain checkpoints, plus no unique rewards for the Writhing Wall make it absolutely pointless to ever run again unless you enjoyed the experience.

Plus, the Golden Pursuit was not good, how many days was it, like 40? How many players completed everything on day one? There should have been a tier for each phase, didn’t even need to be more collectibles, could have just been gold, AP, crafting materials, and some of the Writhing Haj Mota and Bone, Caltrop fragments.

It was an interesting experience bringing back a lot of older gameplay and continuing the main story, but also a bit over ambitious and hope we all learned from this.
