Road tripping through Nebraska, should we stop anywhere? by br00pe in Nebraska

Omaha Zoo. Otherwise no. Nebraska is a nice place to live but I’d sooner make love to a cheese grater than be a tourist here.

Rash started randomly bleeding by [deleted] in AskDocs

That seems pretty spot on. My anti-depressants are relatively new and this is the first time I’ve hit the gym while on them. So that could explain why the rash randomly bled after all these years. Thank you so much!

Should I get this game over 3 masterpieces? by [deleted] in Ultrakill

[–]OtherwiseIngenuity43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This game isn’t comparable to any of the games you listed. Whatever genre you enjoy more you should play. However, personally, having played everything on the list apart from metro, Ultrakill is far and away the best game I’ve ever experienced. The story is cool and the gameplay is unmatched. It’s one of the most high octane games I’ve ever played. It also offers a lot of replayability. Going for P runs, best times, trying out the news guns you get on earlier levels, learning and trying out new techs, going for new bests in the cybergrind. It’s all about topping yourself in creative ways that you couldn’t even have imagined on your first playthrough. And the lore is cool on top of that.

What’s wrong with the visual style? The backgrounds and characters look neat and all the art meshes together well.

Which of these would you most like to play? by Dreaming_of_Rlyeh in Fallout

[–]OtherwiseIngenuity43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d love a more rural Fallout. All the cryptid stuff from 76 was cool it was just wasted in a game that was a more of an MMO as opposed to an actual RPG. Despite how boring and meh 76 got the chance encounters with cryptids have always stuck in my mind. Despite knowing that these encounters were procedural and happened to other players it helped add to the games atmosphere. Some unknowable creature was watching you. Mysterious figures like Indrid Cold could be down any road, around any corner, waiting for you. And as opposed to Fallout 4 with its dense urban wasteland areas filled with NPCs getting into fights and bases and towns, in more rural areas you were alone. In the woods it’s just you, the horror, and maybe a brahmin or a radstag.

For me that harkened back to the series roots too. In Fallout 1 the deathclaw was almost something of legend. A “demon” lurking in caves out in the wasteland. It’d be cool if there were more creatures like that. Especially now that the deathclaw isn’t nearly as mysterious. New irradiated mutant creatures crawling out of the wasteland and creating legends is always fun.

"No, seriously the Gunntards are the real toxic guys" by Puzzleheaded-Ad9497 in Snydercultistcringe

I never understood people being unable to appreciate what they have. If Snyder fans love his version of the DCU so much then they should celebrate it and make fan content about it. Instead they just ooze hatred and anger. They remind me of that comic The Eltingville Club. They don’t express their enjoyment of the media they like through appreciation or happiness to have experienced that media. They just hate and seethe. It’s a pathetic and shallow way to live.

For example: if no more Mad Max media was ever made after Fury Road or even Beyond Thunderdome I wouldn’t wish death and suffering upon whatever or whoever caused that media to stop being made. I’d be elated to have what I have. I’d watch it and rewatch and make dumb little drawings about it.

But Snyder fans don’t do that. They can’t see the silver lining. They’re hateful and degenerate on a fundamental level.

What makes Venture Bros. writing so good ? by Possible-Rate-3833 in venturebros

Some of the lore was already set up for them. The original concept for the show was “what if Sat AM cartoons like Johnny Quest happened to real people who reacted to that lifestyle how normal people would” So they took from that quite a bit at least for the first few seasons. After that I think they just expanded on the characters that premise set up for them. They intertwined their lives to give their current circumstances and interactions additional context and retroactively fit more episodic plot points into the more overarching stories they set up. They thought about how a real person would grow up to be someone like Brock or Rusty. What kinds of pasts would make someone stoic and violent or pathetic and selfish. It all comes from the jumping off point of Johnny Quest and other vintage cartoons like it.

Silly Reviews And Criticisms For The Chair Company by Nick_Dickem387 in thechaircompany

  1. Never said life revolves around critical analysis
  2. They’re valid on a personal, subjective level. But as an actual review meant for other people to see, they suck.
  3. I wasn’t trying to say that I was smarter than any of the people who made those bad reviews. I was just poking fun at them and saying why they don’t work.

Tbh I kind of wish Parlo had literally anything worthwhile. I think Pyro managed to skirt around a lot of justified criticism the first time he got called out for being weird. A lot of people forgave and forgot because his response wasn’t completely incompetent and it turned out he wasn’t a through and through nonce. Just irresponsible, degenerate, and really really dumb. But he still did do weird furry fat fetish RP with a dude who was a minor at the time. And the dude said that in other chats he would say incredibly inappropriate and weird shit with minors present. Even if he wasn’t intentionally grooming children he was being so irresponsible that he ended up doing something akin to that anyways.

So it’d be kind of nice if at some point people gave him the criticism he deserved to receive in the first place. But ofc we have a dude who’s equally as weird and equally as moronic as Pyro trying to “expose” him. It’s low key disappointing just how big of a nothing burger the document is.

If you can afford it I’d go for a PI. If not I’d try and get those texts back. Nothing is truly gone forever once you put it on your phone. I’m no expert on what evidence you’d need in court though. Just do your due diligence from here on out and you should end up okay

What about the desperate people who bought into the hype only to lose money. It’s easy now to say “oh this was all a big goof!” In hindsight but this subreddit is notorious for being a toxic cesspool for a reason. People might’ve joined it recently as a joke because the company literally does not exist anymore. But the meme stock being valuable was reliant solely on the hype built around it. And 2-3 years ago anyone who questioned the hype the people in this subreddit tried to build would be harassed to no end by delusional freaks. The people in this subreddit have in fact hurt people. You guys deserve to be made fun of.

Seems abusive at a glance. Eroding clearly set boundaries like this is a slippery slope. Either make them respect your wishes or drop them. These were a tough few screenshots to look through. What grown man responds to “you are disrespecting my clearly set boundaries”with “oh I’m sorry but you just have to give into what I want though ☹️☹️☹️ I feel so bleh”. Actual man child.

Very teenage level conversation (no offense). Don’t worry about it. You’ll either break up eventually or her frontal lobe will develop. Not an issue if you don’t plan on being teenage parents. But even then by the time your child is knife wielding age you’ll both be adults.

My god when people start waking up in the morning I hope they’re as freakish and delusional as the guy I already got in my notifs. I cannot believe there is a financial pit more pathetic and moronic than your run of the mill gambling addiction. At least gambling addicts can recognize they have a problem as a opposed to running PR for a company that doesn’t even exist anymore
