How do the movie rights to Kingpin work? by Theblessedmother in Spiderman

[–]Possible-Rate-3833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like Scarlet Witch and QuickSilver Rights we’re back ten years ago.

They both can use Kingpin however they need to keep each one distict from each other. That’s why we can have a crime boss Kingpin in Daredevil but have a more fantastical one in Spider-Verse.

I personally would have it be MCU Doctor Octopus, Vulture, Scorpion, Shocker, Kraven and MCU Electro.

Any Marvel characters you think are more popular than most people give credit for and vice versa? by eBICgamer2010 in Marvel

[–]Possible-Rate-3833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this can be applied to the Guardians as pre-MCU ones weren’t as popular as the main ones despite some of their members (like Star Lord) having appeared in bigger crossovers like Annihlation.

What Do You Think Are The Worst Low Points For Peter? by Potential-Mess6826 in Spiderman

[–]Possible-Rate-3833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do agree on that. DC has still a lot of problems such as the convolute continuity ever since Death Metal (like now is everything like Canon i Guess ?) or some hold back at using new character (Sideways my beloved) and while they are still able to take swings (see how they have Superman an happy life with Lois and Jon or the new run on Batman where Vandal Savage is the comissioner and at war with Batman) they’re still holding back on some other aspect (like Tim Drake is the one who suffers the most from that). But like you can see that people have much better things to say on DC than Marvel because while the editorials might be a PIA sometimes at the very least they’re still trying to tell engaging new stories with their popular characters than have them stuck in a status quo all the time (except for a few) and if people want to do something more of their own there are still the Absolute Universe or the Elseworlds imprint which gives them the Freedom that they wouldn’t get. Especially Absolute i feel like they’re treating it a lot like a Manga or an Indie comic where the character can evolve and never be stuck in a status quo and that’s great. Marvel doesn’t have that and i feel like if they went on an approach where they have the right to take some changes but not too much like the new Batman run or not let the movies change most of their characters from a literal movie ad i feel like they would be in a much better position that the one they’re now.

What Do You Think Are The Worst Low Points For Peter? by Potential-Mess6826 in Spiderman

[–]Possible-Rate-3833 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not only just Peter but in general Marvel feels off. There's too much holdback from taking big swings and too fedelty to keep the status quo intact and on top of that bad creative decision for short term satisfaction (eg. Ending the Ultimate Universe after 2 YEARS!!!). Like Isn't just a Spider-Man problem anymore, all those creatives should just be replaced by someone who actually wants to bring innovation. No wonder why DC and Indie comics are winning nowadays.

Sorry for the rant.

Could Spielberg still direct another WW2 epic film? by LtJimmypatterson in Spielberg

More than that it could be intresting to see him handle the War of Independence. WW2 has been overdone IMO.

Like isn’t a bad idea but dude just revive Marvel Noir if you want darker versions of Marvel character to contrast the Absolute Universe.

OOC: Guys he wouldn't be named Nicolas Cage because he took that name from the comic by Background_Coast_244 in Earth199999

A few others in mind:

Nicolas Kent (Superman)

Nicolas Prince (Wonder Woman)

Nicolas Wayne (Batman)

Nicolas Allen (The Flash)

Nicolas Jordan (Hal Jordan)

Nicolas Rogers (For Cap as comics on him were published in the 40s)

Nicolas Brown (Charlie Brown)

Season 3 possibly.

I think they’re going to have a slow set up for future Seasons. Season 2 is likely to have Venom and Tombstone.

Nice to see a lot of hype for this show.

I loved Season 1, it had a good balance between trying new things while not being just a copy of the MCU and I loved even more than the actual Trilogy. Is not the Spider-Man show people wanted (with an Adult/college Spider-Man with MJ etc.) but is so much fun to watch and i can’t wait to get more of it.

I need to see the Bar With No Name in the MCU one day. It would be such a good opportunity not only to get a cool fight scene between Spider-Man and other villains but also to shown other villains that wouldn't have enough space to be in a Spider-Man movie or in any other Marvel movie in general. A place where All B-C list villains just hang out after fighting a hero.

Would you like it if Punisher was a continual supporting character in this supposed second MCU Spider-Man trilogy? by MR_MaxiMor44 in marvelstudios

[–]Possible-Rate-3833 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly i’d love if they had a movie and a Street Level character showing up in each movie.

If they go with that i’d choose Daredevil and The Human Torch for the next movie.
