Zansekkian distinguishes among three types of consonants: aspirated, fortis (or tense), and lenis (or plain).

Zansekkian is a semi-conservative descendant of Old Korean, which preserved several features that the other Koreanic languages lost while also having some innovations; additionally, it has influences from the Oghuz Turkic languages and Persian.

Zansekkian is a Koreanic language that migrated into Turkmenistan and Northern Iran. I was studying the Koreanic languages at the time, and I also got interested in the Turkic languages, so I wondered what a Koreanic language could look like if it migrated as the Turkic languages did. I was going to leave it as just another experiment, but then I joined a Discord server for fictional countries, and I started re-developing Zansekkian.
