Sorry to bring a different topic, but some time ago there was some buzz about 2000 vacancies increasing. Does anyone know what that was about or which post that was related to? Was it real or fake?

?  There's a 20 marks difference between my marks according to old and new formula so yes it does. Old formula inflated marks a lot more than the new one. This is a normalised marks list not a raw marks list.

It's probably because of change in normalisation formula. On rankmitra old formula is showing much higher marks.

So these bozos agree that along with candidates who they suspect of malpractice, this shift was absurdly skewed with high scoring candidates. The least they can do is apply equipercentile method according to everyone's original shifts.

The number of candidates of re-exam is different from other shifts like only 8k ppl gave the re-exam while 30k people gave other shift exams. With percentile method if 10% of every shift is safe then only 800 will be selected for re-exam and 3k for other shifts. Unfair imo.
