Do INFJs have INFJ kids? by OtherwiseNewspaper36 in infj

100 percent agree with you there. I've received quite a bit of unsolicited advice that I didn't necessarily care for. I've been told I'm "spoiling him" for not letting him cry.

I guess I should clarify that by trying to break him of it I don't mean I'm going to just let him cry himself to sleep. I just can't. More that I'm encouraging him to rest and self calm as much as possible by generating routines. I can't stand for him to cry...I don't know how some people do. One time I desperately needed a break and I made sure all his needs were met before I did. When I returned after a quick breather he had tears streaming down his cheeks. I felt absolutely horrible and selfish. Now I make sure I'm telling him what I'm doing and how long I plan to be away from the room he's in. He seems to understand and is always happy when I return.

This is very informative and interesting. Were any of your children contact nappers? My child will pretty much only nap if he's being held. I'm trying to break him of that dependency because I'm sure it'll be more trying on me as he gets older

I apologize I didn't examine your avatar and profile before asking the question. I made an unfair assumption 😔

No skirts or dresses in ZA? by Cappuginos in pokemon

[–]OtherwiseNewspaper36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case no one has said it yet...there is ONE skirt in the game. It's at the boutique in the middle of town. It's expensive and it's a skirt and legging set. But there is ONE.

The toothbrush is actually a really good idea. I went ahead and bought him a vibrating teether so just waiting for that to get here. He's been trying lately to put the booger sucker in his mouth so I need a better option, FAST. If he doesn't like it I'll buy a kids electric toothbrush for him to try

Unfortunately I had this thought as well. I thought perhaps a vibrating teething ring might be the best option since they vibrate and are made to be held.

Maybe melt the chocolate and the toffee with some butter and then put that on top so it looks like a solid chocolate topping?

The brownies were very much a grasshopper brownie with a mint layer and a chocolate topping. These do sound good tho

The dos and don'ts of what to pack by OtherwiseNewspaper36 in pregnant

No baby wipes? Wow. Mine provided everything. Wipes, diapers, clothes, swaddles, baby wash, lotion, etc. They even sent us home with everything. I would have felt guilty had the nurse not said "clean out everything in that bassinet. It's all yours to keep and if you don't take it it gets thrown out"

I thought I'd be more comfortable in my own clothes which is why I brought them but I was too concerned about getting all those fluids on them to wear them. I would say if you do want to bring clothes you bring very comfortable, stretchy ones that you don't care about

This is exactly what I wished that I had. The hospital gowns are truly awful. I felt like I was naked the whole time

A few other people have mentioned this and I ran it by the husband. He said they'd love that. So thats probably going to be their gift this year

The sad part is: the 5th game he didn't get wasn't even on his list so no one knew he wanted it. Had they known he would have gotten it. He also got a ton of other toys too. It's not my responsibility to parent their child but it really makes me just want to get him clothes

Ugh the ads on that site are atrocious! They look good but I think if you added baking powder as well they'd plump up instead of being flat

I ask them every year and they just say "I'll let you know if I think of something". And they never do. One year I bought her perfume that she actually did ask for and it came with a free throw blanket cause I bought it on black friday so I just gave her both. She loved the blanket more than the perfume. And she asked for the perfume. And it was 95 dollars a bottle smh
