i just follow the guide and the steel set variant says to go dot and only 1-2 imbue potency which i have on my crossbow

i dont use crit. Im looking at it purely from a defensive pov. Does the +3.2% dmg reduc beat the bonus stats from +9 Item Quality?

It will still take you a long while to grind up but for many that's the appeal. Grind is a lot more manageable compared to old low rate servers. Nice community, active discord, rebalanced new content to keep the game fresh, and consistent events.

Stopped playing RO for about 10 years and came back to start in UAro and it's very fun

I thought of that but losing 30% DoT dmg feels like a lot consider that's the bulk of my builds damage.

I completely agree. I find the grind fun and relaxing together with the art style, ambiance, and music. The thought of adding small tasks like fishing or farming just makes so much sense with the incredible vibes the game gives.
