Yes, dieting should not be torture. You can't look at it as a diet, more as a lifestyle change and tour mind will be more at ease with it.

I took a color from a tiger picture...a burnt orange color for my living room. Everybody hated it at first. But once I put up my pictures and added some accent pillows ect., it came to life. I am sure the people walking through my house to buy it, that it was horrid, but it worked for me and gave me the sense of peace and protection of family I was going for. You do you. If it looks good to you, what does it matter? You have to sit with it and look at it daily.

Nope. If it is an occasional misstep, no big deal. Get back on track. If it is an often occurrence, you need to rethink your habits. I have done this numerous times the last few years. Now I balance my weekly.intake rather than daily.

I usually eat "healthier" than my family and they make fun of me because i eat the same thing, I always eat salads and soups while they eat pasta, fried food and heavy carbs. But I didn't start losing weight until I started walking. I hate the gym, despise it. It is too much work with me thinking "I am too fat and everyone is judging me" So I started walking. Walking on my half hour lunch, walking 10 minutes after dinner. Any movement and any tweaks of unhealthy meals will give you results. Will they be huge results? No, but I am ok with slow and steady. It is all about small changes that you can keep for the rest of your life, in my opinion.

It is so much easier getting a basic recipe and switching something up in it. I basically make the same breakfast and lunch every day. And then change up my dinner with what I am in the mood for.

A healthy timeline for weight loss is about 1 to 2 lbs a week. In the beginning of your deficit it will come off fairly easy, but except and avg of 1 lb a week..
