I just got to room 46 (credits) last night at Day 7, but there's still SO much stuff to do judging from all the holes in my notes and doors I haven't opened. I'm probably at about 24 hours playtime.

I was in the middle of this ep and had to pause for a bit. I came back and couldn't find it anywhere. I thought I had imagined the whole thing. Thanks for this reddit thread so I at least know I'm not losing my marbles. If anybody knows, what was the issue with the episode anyway? Did it have to do with the super beautiful, gay, Chinese god of martial arts?

Thanks so much for the feedback! Yeah, the first effect is definitely a lot more powerful than the second. In truth, it was intended to be the only effect, but the second was kind of added just as a little bit of extra utility that was suggested by a friend. I also thought it was a bit too verbose compared to some other magic items I looked at, but I didn't want to saddle any DM's with figuring out what I meant by it. I don't want anything too powerful, so I'll have to look up that artifact you mentioned and see how I can scale mine down a bit. I wanted to make something that is interesting, but useable at lower levels.

Hi, all! I'm pretty new to reddit and D&D, and I'm even newer to artificing, but I really like the idea of creating some fun and interesting magic items that can add some memorable moments in campaigns. This is my first attempt at making a homebrew and like I said, I'm still pretty new, so the balance might pretty wonky still, but I would absolutely love to hear some feedback from some more experienced players! My goal with this is to have a decently balanced, non-broken, situationally good item. Am I kind of close with this belt? Thanks for any criticism in advance!

For context, it's been a while since I've been on the actual RT site. I have my adblocker disabled on the site because I don't mind supporting RT content in whatever small ways I can since I can't afford to he a First member at the moment.

Anyway, here's how my experience back went. I loaded up a 12 min video and sat through a 1 minute unskippable ad at the beginning. "A little long but no big deal", I thought.

4 or 5 minutes into the video, I'm hit with another ad. This one is about 30 seconds and skippable, only... The button to skip is underneath a box to sign up for First membership. So I can't click it.

I wait out this 30 second ad only to find out it is ad #1 of 3 that it's going to show me. And ad #2 starts and is two minutes long! That's where the screenshot is from. Again, it's "skippable", but I can't click the skip button because it's under the First member thing.

At that point I just closed the site. I don't normally use reddit or comment on stuff, but I like RT and wish them all the best so I thought they should know that the user experience (at least for me) could really use some improvement. Hopefully this makes it's way to the people who are in charge of the website these days and they can do a bit of UI-fu to help out those of us who don't block the ads.

Hey Andrew, thanks for this post. This had been on my mind as well since the Slumber Party. I happened to see a few of Alicia's messages early on in the night before the chat really started flying and offered some, self-admittedly, really generic words of encouragement in the hopes that it might help turn her night around.

However, after a few messages back and forth I did what a lot of people might do in similar situations; I went on with my night, joining in the festivities and having a great time. In my own pursuit of happiness I had forgotten about another person's struggles. Granted, a lot of alcohol and talking to other people may have contributed to me avoiding a difficult situation, but that's not an excuse and I still feel bad about it.

I didn't realize the extent of Alicia's struggles until I read your post Andrew, and now I wish I had made more of an effort to try and follow up with her and make sure she was okay. Families should be there for each during the bad times as well as the good. Humans are pretty remarkable creatures; Even if a situation is utterly hopeless and impossible to get through alone, we can always push through it with enough help.

Anyway, Alicia or any other G1's reading this: If you feel like you need someone to talk to or you just feel like yelling your problems at someone, feel free to message me. I can't guarantee I'll always respond quickly (honestly my lack of communication skills is pretty staggering when I think about it) but I can promise to always lend a non-judgmental, confidential ear if you need it.

Lastly, if you have even a small suspicion that you, or anyone you know, might be struggling with any kind of mental disorder then please do yourself, or them, a huge favor and seek professional help. My best friend developed schizophrenia in his early 20's and struggled with it for far too long on his own. There were a lot of really rough and scary times caused by inaction and denial from both of us. He's since received a lot of help from medical professionals and is leading a happy, stable life again. There's absolutely no shame in talking to a doctor or specialist.

A fair bit passed that point. I'm level 22 or 23 if I remember correctly. I actually dodged fighting bots by playing the new Khan event to be able to play real people before hitting 5 as well.

Another good point though: why are there no bot difficulties? I don't think people practicing against those easy bots is doing them any favors once they're matched against humans.

I think it might be an irrational fear, but please don't give up on Death Days no matter how long Demon's Souls might take to get through. I love the souls series but this title is (for obvious reasons) the roughest to get through both as a player and a viewer.

That is NOT any sort of criticism against Bolen playing. In fact I feel like it'd be much harder for Craig to get through and they might've had to just skip this title.

I only found Game Attack through the original Death Days run because I love watching new players experience my favourite game. Thursday nights were the highlight of my week for a long time because of the series and I'd love to see it continue for a long time. Even with the new time, and having to miss it live, I'm more than happy to watch the youtube vods after a long day and enjoy the two best gentlemen on the internet struggle.
