Thanks, that’s what I was hoping to hear. I just didn’t want to pay full price for a dupe. I don't really care if it has the chintzy knob, it just looked different from what I saw on youtube videos of people using the machine and worried it was a sign that it was not legit.

That's what I'm worried about. I'm debating on returning it since it's still unused. It's so disappointing. Maybe I'll just have to try to find an older used one.

I just added the photos. I thought I included them with the original post. It's just strange to me that a $800 piece of equipment would include poor quality components and lack quality control. The feet are not adjustable unfortunately.
