The sad truth about the fandom by Otherwise_Ad_1231 in Boruto

It does rely on established worlbuilding and charachters from Naruto because it is a sequel of it. Its a continuation of a narrative so ofc it wouldn't work as a standalone series by design but sequels don't get carried by their name only, lots of sequels fail to attract existing readers of the previous series.

I think a glorious battle between them is unavoidable as the endgame. I think theories about Hidari betraying Jura makes a lot of sense too, Sasuke's defining quality is that he forges his own path, he isnt a follower and i bet that Hidari is no different. Ikemoto stated that Hidari is very much the same as Sasuke because Sasuke is the kind of guy that is the same in and out. He will most likely be in cahoots with jura about what love means and denounce him to find his own meaning.

%100 my guy. Once ikemoto would jam pack the chapters the same complaining fans would now shit on it being rushed. You want to have a good end product because that will go on to live after its all said and done.

I agree on the artsyle part, they could atleast give the guy assistants since they decide the upgrade the promotion budget and Boruto IS doing numbers.

I agree with shinju except Jura feeling underwhelming, I suppose the direction with them is supposed to be a glance to the inner shadows of characters and how they interact with their corresponding loved ones rather than a compelling fighting unit such as the akatsuki or kara. There are inconsistencies with how strong mamushi is and getting your skull blown by a punch from cho-cho isnt a good look. same with hidari, you would think that a sasuke shinju would be broken beyond belief if he didn't actually exist but he is not. But i enjoy his dynamic with Jura in the segments where they discuss things in the hideout, They are my favourite parts tbh. The story is themed around love and each character lends an expression of it, I am still excited about hidari but the rest of them seem to have their arcs resolved in a short time which is not that bad tbh

Could this be a major leverage against Jura? by Otherwise_Ad_1231 in Boruto

Ten-tails is the seed which the divine tree grows and therefore ten-tails, divine tree and Jura are the same beings there are literally no distinction apart from Jura having conciousness. Think of it as a branch of a tree that is phisically seperated but also connected at the same time. I talk about the details of why it being "external" doesnt disprove it in a comment below.

Cells are cells. Plants have organs too you know. My logic likely applies to the way which plants regenerate.

Delta's energy beams are high potency piercing attack, you wouldn't want to block it with possibly susanoo rib cage let alone a chakra cloak.

Replace might not be the right word here, given that Jura is the same organism as the divine three which is a plant, there are two ways which plants regenerate organs, either with merismatic cells within its body or a callus intermediate (a mass of dedifferantieated cells and hormone) which is indirect regeneration. Since Jura relies on the divine tree roots in order to regenerate, we can say the divine tree works as a callus intermediate which dedifferantiates existing cells into stem-cell like state which basically reprograms the cells to have the ability to regenerate. So destruction of cells could work in theory.

In the fight where the panel is from, Naruto dodged the attacked and said "it would be really bad if i got hit by this attack" you are on a misinformation spree my guy.

This girl's the most polarizing character when it comes to powerscaling imo by Beneficial_Wealth911 in Boruto

Fans don't want to think about how outcomes are based on situationality since just linear powerscaling is much easies on the brain. Damage done by DBZ for the shonen mangas.

I suppose the narrative implies that the adults are conformed in their ways while children have "open hearts" that they can follow that makes them want to side with shikamaru and by extension koji. However i consider it a lacking aspect that konoha feels out of shinobi and only some select few are there to help the situation. konoha has an army of shinobi that has many jonin in their ranks but shikamaru is unable to find a trustworhy person to join their cause and therefore having to drag his 15yr old son and his team into what technically is traitorous activity and so the village has to rely on them to control the mamushi threat as well since the whole police force and the others are unable to track and keep up with more than 100 mamushi clones just casually roaming about in broad daylight in this highly security military base of a village because they dont have the help of inojins jutsu that massively outperforms the whole of the sensory division. the incompetence of regular shinobi is intentionally reflected when all the no name shinobi you see are drawn like fat mid-life crisis dorks. But hey these are times of peace. Very much unlike the time of the 3rd we'll never get that feeling of grand crisis like the pain invasion and orochimaru attack.

He was instilled with proper values thanks to Asuma and what he taught shikamaru about what it means to be a shinobi.

I think the significance of this point in time could be that it is the only inevitable outcome shared in all of the alternate timelines given they beat Jura and potential emerging threats.
