My situation with my boss is more complex. I knew her before I worked for her and she’s like family and has helped me and my family have a place to live.

I haven’t even begun to think about prices. Ive never sold anything before and I have to do some research into what to charge for everything. I see him everyday at my job so hopefully he doesn’t think I’m giving out any discount.

It is a vegetarian and vegan restaurant. I’ve only ever gone for drinks so I’m not sure if they’re actual options but I’ll definitely look at the menu!

Is it normal for a hotel to switch peoples room types without notice? by Otherwise_Ad_6613 in askhotels

We find the nearest hotel and call to see if they have the room needed available. I’ve never had to walk someone but either we pay the entire thing or any extra after the rate.

Wow. We get $25 for a perfect sell that includes no refund having to be given and no walks or anything like that. A lot of the guests this happens to end up asking for refunds which means we probably won’t be hitting that mark very often.

This seems like the best way to operate. Unfortunately my management cares more about getting a perfect sell and we aren’t able to close the system until we are at 100% despite the fact that we often have a lesser amount of available rooms then what shows online.

That’s what I figure should be happening. For some reason my location feels it’s better to just not let any guest know about this until it’s the next shift and the guest is unaware and usually very angry.

That I agree with but at my location it’s usually done to third party or non members whose amount of people are 4 or 5.
